I came across this a while back:

http://www.toymania....trek/access.htm

Mego made this for the 3.75 inch Star Trek the Motion Picture, and I was just wondering if anyone here had it, and if so, more pictures. If anyone does, please post them here or e-mail them to me, as I would like to get a couple of customizing ideas. Thanks for the help!

That is pretty much all there is to it.
There is a main floor piece with raised helm and pedestals for the chairs and consoles. There is a curved piece that fits on top of that (with lame double sided tape). The door has two pins to make it spin open, and the chairs are single pieces, as are the consoles.
The whole thing is made of vacuum formed plastic.

Here you go...

Hope that helps, It would probably work for a JJ Trek bridge too.

The TMP in the photos are in the same scale range as the Star Wars figures and G.I. Joe. So I'd venture they'd look pretty good. wink.gif

It always boggled my mind it was vac-formed plastic. It had to be pretty cheap to produce. Still, I always thought it was a neat looking set.

I believe that the airlock door was to connect the Vulcan Shuttle to the Enterprise. My understanding is that the shuttle was available at Sears stores in Canada, at the same time as the bridge and an Enterprise, similar to the South Bend one, but without the replaceable nacelles.

Tiberius and sallah-I cannot thank you guys enough! I had seen that before, but never in detail. I was just an infant when that line came out, and never could find anything in the stores when I first saw Star Trek when I was 5. But you both have given me enough ideas for some customization, so again my sincere thanks and if ya'll make your way down here the drinks are on me!

Check out this on Ebay guys: 230385829647

Nobody has bid on it yet, but it is quite expensive! Looks like all the figures except the Zaranite too. If anybody is interested in it and is that desperate for the full set I think I have a Zaranite somewhere, although I recall that it isn't in great condition.

As an aside, has anybody ever attempted to make customs of the remaining crew? I should imagine that there are enough figures out there now to do a few simple head swaps and repaints? (Therin of Andor made some nifty amabassadors and an Andorian crewman)

I did Uhura from an Ilia body, Decker legs, and a Black Hole Kate McRae head. GIJoe heads work well with these too, especially the older ones. There is a red hair guy in green camo that looks a lot like Kyle and another that looks a little like Sulu. I used both with my ERTLs.
