I like them, but not usually a fan of the styling and paint choices. They usually end up looking sort of anime.

Yeah majorly. Their Halo figures look extremely anime-ified, and that put me right off.

That is the style they do though. Everything is somewhat anime-fied.
I like them . The Halo figures are great and so are the Batman figures. Im really looking forward to these.

I think if these do well they will do others from the movie. They seem to release a couple then do more if they are successful. It would be great to see a "John Harrison" figure to go with them. This news has me excited.

I wonder what these will retail for?

Their previous figures have not been cheap, more in the region of $70 but they do come packaged in some really nicely designed boxes and I'm sure going by the previous figures they've done (Man of Steel, The Dark Knight) the quality will be exceptional.

So I guess Paramount and CBS dole out action figure licenses based on what scale they are? Like Hasbro has the rights to JJ figures in 3.75" (or other scales, for example) and Square Enix can do 10" figures? Or maybe they considered these new SE figures "stylized" like bobble heads or those creepy skullface Trek characters and Hasbro could still theoretically do 10" JJ Trek figures as well?
