Wow JMW! That is some excellent work.

I will definately be down with whatever you are doing.

Perhaps one day, if this all goes well, we could even up-scale the heads of B'Elanna & Quark so we can add them to out 9" Playmates line.

Thanks Sam. Scaling them up shouldnt be a problem. I would however need to modify them to have the same type of neck connection though.

Quark has proven to be quite a challenge. I have put him to the side for now until I finish up Voyager. Surprising enough I went back to Chakotay and am not very happy with the way he turned out. He has proven to be the most difficult so far. It is frustrating to no end. I may move to Paris or Kim and go back to Chakotay later. Me and him need some time apart. LOL.

I may eventually. I mainly did it this way because one: it was easier and two: her and B'lanna's hair were to similar so I wanted a little variation on the shelf.

Jim, that is amazing. I think I will have to be in on some of these heads. Can you show us the others that you have submitted as well, or are you waiting to surprise us with them. What is the ETA for them to be sent to you?

Thanks everyone. It has been fun to work on these. So far I have made Janeway, Tuvok, The Dr, B'Lanna and Paris. I have also made chakotay but am not happy with how he turned out. I will probably be revamping him at some point so that is why he hasnt been posted yet. Some are still being tweaked here and there. I should be getting shipping notice soon. Three prototypes are in production right now. An early Janeway (whom I have since modified) The EMH and Chakotay (Whom I will be completely redoing. The prototypes are mainly to show me scale anf fit on the bodies. Once I see what adjustments need to be made for a perfect fit I will be able to start getting the actual finished product made.

Here are all the ones that are almost ready to go, all in one place.

Janeway

B'Lanna

EMH

Tuvok

Paris

Chakotay

Tasha

That's an amazing work, JMW!
I was trying to find a way to get my hands on some custom voyager characters as I have no skill to make head sculpts. I even bouhgt some spare action figures hoping that someday Hunky Artist would accept new comissions, but just found out that he has his hands full till the end of 2011.

I added Chakotay to the pic above. I also got my shipping notice and should have a couple test samples in a few days. I will keep everyone updated on the progress.

So with most of Voyager in process or waiting on test shots, what other characters would people be interested in? I know Quark is a big one but is one that is going to take a lot of time to do (working on but I don't expect him done any time soon). Tasha is another and to be honest, she is about half way done (SURPRISE). What others would people be interested in. What other holes do we have? I am open to suggestions and would be willing to try and make whomever we want.

The one thing I would love to see comes from one of my favorite Voyager epsiodes, the equinox Crew especially Cpt. Ransom. I think some other cool and easy ideas (with building the figures) would be Lt Kyle, Koloth, Cmdr Decker, Dr Pulaski, Vic Fontaine, Garak (maybe with a modded Admiral Riker body?), Vorik, & Crewman Daniels from ENT. Thats just a short list of what I think are some pretty important recurring characters that I feel all would be able to be accomplished by the average customizer. Obviously Ive left off some name and added some that very few might be interested in...but thats my list!!

Id also love to try my hand at Guinan and Lwaxana Troi but I realize the average customizer might have difficulty with those.

I had thought about a couple of those. Koloth and Vorik mainly. I like the idea of the Equinox crew. Another big one would be Eddington.

Lt Kyle
Koloth
Cmdr Decker
Dr Pulaski
Vic Fontaine
Garak
Crewman Daniels
Guinan
Lwaxana Troi
Ransom (and crew)
Eddington

Wow. Obviously I doubt I will ever be able to do them all, But I will do what I can . LOL

Oh, did I yell that? I want one of her to make a Chapel, and one for the Number One body I have waiting for a head, I realize that DST MIGHT make one...
...
...
(holding my breath)...

I want Koloth, mine is ok, but yours might be better
Decker, B'Elanna...
heck, give me everyone, now I just need to learn how to paint heads...
I like most of the lists, listed here

If all goes well I should have a package waiting for me when I get home. I am both excited and nervous to see how the first couple have turned out.

Oh and I added Tasha to the pics above.
