Oh and happy "T" day to everyone... unless your in Canada, in which case a belated happy Thanksgiving is in order.

So Thanksgiving is something to do with the native Indians & the early pilgrims having a dinner together?

Ah, I see.
So the first Thanksgiving was celebrated by the natives & the pilgrims....which I gather at that time was pretty special for everyone. It is nice to hear the Indians & pilgrims were helping each other back in the 1600's, I didn't know that happened. Especially after Squanto had been a slave....very kind of him.
But Thanksgiving is thanking God for prosperity during the harvest season, or nowadays, for most of you, just thanks in general I gather.

Sounds like a really nice tradition...as does Halloween.
I wish we Aussies did some of these things.

Yep, it is basicaly just a time for everyone to get together with thier loved ones and just be thankfull for what we have. This year was a little different because it was the first time me and my wife couldn't make it back home to our families but we spent the day together and had a great time seeing the new Bond movie and stuffing our faces with turkey LOL. I hope that everyone else had a great time.
