Here is the 1/6 scale Captain James T Kirk figure I have been working on. I got the head from a guy over at the sideshow collectables forum. I painted it myself and have been piecing the uniform together. The shirt he is wearing is just a temporary until I can find a proper one.

It's surprisingly weird to see Shatner in the new-style-old-style uniform...

In saying that, I am heaping a serious amount of praise on that head sculpt and paint job - the Shat's a toughie.

I can't take credit for this head. All I did was paint it. I bought it from a guy over at the Sideshow freaks forum.

Kirk looks great and you did an awesome job on the paint apps and I kinda like him in the new uniform. Where did you get the boots from?.

And if you are after Trek clothing check out this site undefined.

I get alot of my outfits from him and got the Trek uniform for my 1/6 Kirk and Spock pic below. I have ordered new clothing from him and his new design tops are great and I'll post pics of the new tops soon.

Ron I got the boots off of ebay a while back but cant for the life of me remember what they were called. I have looked to see if I can find them again but no luck so far.
I would love to see pics of the new design tops. Thanks

Thanks for getting back to me and I think I know what boots you are talking about and I'll get pics up of the new top by Friday.

I went ahead and ordered the Gold uniform from that site. Did you have to put the rank braids on yourself or did it come that way?

No I had to put the rank braid on myself which took me about 10 mins all up. I do belive that the uniforms come with the chest insignia now as well.

I bought a 1/6 scale TNG uniform from D art studios. Came out pretty good

The Next Gen uniform looks good I'll have to look at getting some. And JMW326 here is the pic of the material that Deniz sendt me, the material is kind of like lyrca it sits well on the figure but doesn't go to tight.

I know what you mean, I'm having a ball doing these 1/6 trek figs. I'll be speaking to Deniz about getting a wrap around for Kirk and also Mirror Outfit for Kirk and Spock.

I got my new boots but am still waiting on my new TOS uniform. In the mean time I decided to play around with an old TWOK playmates uniform I had.
