Hey, Paul! You bought it from me! Good to see you on here! Unfortunately, that was not one of my best customs. But I'm sure you can make him look better. Glad to see my custom is in the hands of a collector/professional.

Thanks for that! I need to keep an eye for a TRU set now since I have a Shran head that I want to put on a TMP body. I'm still hoping in vain that we'll get a couple more TMP figures too.
The basic shape was good - it just resembled the mego action figure more than the movie stills so I printed off a picture, filed the head in a few places, lowered the eyes a fraction and painted it purple. I'm reasonably happy with her but I may not be able to sort out uploading the photos for a few weeks as I accidently broke my pc at home. Btw reptiles don't suckle their young there is no need for boobies so I decided to stick with the notion that the TMP picture is of the female saurian from the novel Ex Machina.
Edit - photos poor but here they are before and after:

Anyway, I have a crew of TMP figures, including a Klingon Captain. I have finished my Dress McCoy and have a pretty good start on my Robed Spock. I need some catch up pictures, hang in there...
So I found a great set of cheap figures, the Spirit girls in B/W format. I immediatly thought Plaster of Paris would make a great Orion, here is my WIP
I am thinking that I might even keep the costume, but paint it gold or something.

First up Vina the human
She will need some proper legs, perhaps from the POTA girl.
Next, Spock Robes pt 2
He needs some more robes made. I used the Crouching Tiger robe and arms. I intend the robe to be shorter on the other side

I have a question for you, about the Pilot figures:
I have the new twin pack, so this has a bearing on my decision. I bought a custom Scotty, which I think had a nice contrast to it, but his collar is curled up. I bought a Sulu, but I cant find another to keep in package. I made a blue Spock with an extra Kirk and painted it blue to go with Pike, and I have the carded version of him too. I have an extra Pilot Kirk and the yellow Toronto Convention Kirk... so my question is actually.
1. Should I open my Cage Spock and switch out my custom Cage Spock to become Sulu? I would use the customized head of Spock for the "new Cage Spock", I think.
2. Should I switch out my Scotty head and put him on one of the bodies I have, giving everyone a "uniform" collar? If so would it look good with a WNMHGB Kirk from the chair? or repaint it? they are different colours, but I dont recall which colour it should be...
Thank you for your consideration

Awesome job! Makes me so sad that they didn't make more of these figures!

Will do later, I guess. Here is my WIP Mugatu, which was from FV's project. The heads had a lot of bubbles, which take time to remove, and I am crap at painting eyes, etc.
He is an up sized PM Mugatu head on an Abomination body. The figure goes pretty cheap on eBay, from China, but there is a lot of material to remove. I should have him done in a couple years, lol.
Here is my mego one

Looking good so far. I keep looking at my pile of heads thinking I should really start producing figures. For me it's the initial starting. Once I've done that the confidence starts to build.
Hopefully I'll have some started this weekend.
Take care,
Matty-lad
