Yeah, this CBS All Access is definitely ruining the franchise.

Personally, I'm looking forward to this series, as much as any other. After all, "Young minds, fresh ideas. Be tolerant."

This is the series I've wanted since Pike stepped foot on Discovery. I'm really, really looking forward to this. Way more than any of the other series.

I hope it will be good, I actually think it will . I actually liked Picard, maybe not as much as TNG but it was a good show. I will go back and check out season 2 of Discovery to catch up on the Pike / Spock storyline.

Beautiful poster! I feel like we are in a gold-pressed latinum era of television/series. There are so many great things to watch! Just hate that they are across too many streaming platforms - just call it Cable 2.0 all ready and bundle it haha. Im also looking forward to the Halo show.

Im mixed about the halo show, parts of it look almost fan film level, while other parts look really damn good.

Cortanas model is also pretty terrible.

Im still checking it out, but Im not super hyped for it yet.

Strange New Worlds is probably the series Im most excited for, Anson Mount killed it in season 2, and them saying itll be more like classic Trek has me excited.

Season Two spoilers abound already. I'd heard of a certain character's casting a while ago but I'd forgotten. Thanks to social media, I was reminded today. Oh, well.

This show is now my second favorite of the new series, following Lower Decks. If it stays the course, it may equal it or even surpass it.

I sort of keep Lower Decks off in a category all by itself, regardless of what anyone says I don't really consider it canon and I highly doubt it will be treated as hard canon in the long run either.

If I did try and compare the apple to the orange, I'd say that SNW's pacing suits my tastes more than LD...(and more than all the others).

Lower Decks would benefit from longer episodes instead of half hour ones, they're pretty standard Trek stories, just compressed to fit the shorter run time.

It's not the same character. That was kind of the point of the whole episode; things had become different.

Whatever they get someone on the Internet to write in an "article" to explain that bit away as an "alternate version" (I actually already read one such "article"), it won't be a strong enough case for me to buy it. Not even 1 out of 3 man!

Kirk without the benefit of ever having met Spock let alone having served with him is a pretty different Kirk. I don't need an article to suggest that. Are people upset that Uhura never got her Kirk-mandated beehive?

Dude are you even reading what I'm telling you? They have gotten close enough on build, appearance, mannerisms on Uhura. By the time they put her in that red open neck uniform I was 100% sold. What I am telling you is that Kirk was so far off the mark that I'm 0% (or -100%) sold, and that's unusual for SNW, they've done a great job until then. For comparison Chris Pine was infinitely closer than this doof.
