The fact is that Ebay has made "rare" not so rare. IF I was to pick a hard one to find (can we call that rare?) there is a Ensign Crusher like this one

with red accessories that I have only seen in pictures. I can not find one and I have looked for a long time.

Is there a complete list of playmates figures with variant figures/ packing/ cards/ spacecap
I've got almost every figure from the playmates line (except a few who are to expensive for me at this time)
The hunt is now for the variants to keep fun and excitement in collecting

The 9" and 12" figures are not complete in my collection, collecting these big figures are no fun anymore, due the high shipping rates to my country!

Yeah the shipping rates are slowly taking the fun out of collecting for sure, only way to make it worth the money is buying multiples from the same seller.

Not that I know of. My site probably is the most complete on the net at this time. There was one back years ago, but it folded.

My site is complete except I do not collect variants in the colour of the assecoires, beyond that everything should be on it (and if not please let me know so I can hunt it down)

Hard to tell how much the colour difference is in the picture and how much on the figure, but is a good one, as I have spares of Spock I should check it out

Your site is very complete, I know the old site you mean, I remember years ago you said that you almost backed it up but AOL closed it.(or wasn't it you?)
Can't You catagorised your site by brand? to make it clearer

I thought about that but I collect way more then figures and it was the most easy way to group items together. Also, at the time that I first set it up, there was a plethora of sites on the internet that had the basic, by brand, by year on action figures to look at. I have been considering redoing the site as my webdesign skills are greatly better then back then. I have also picked up a much greater knowledge of the pieces I could share.

No, nowhere close to a 50 / 50. I'd guess more like a 90/10 mix with the light jacket the most hard to find. Although with ebay being ebay. you might look and find 10 of the light jackets in a row.

Oh lucky me, I have a light jacket one that I picked up one day at random at a toy shop lol, Maybe he should come off the wall and into the protective display case then.

Is the color difference also found in the pog/space cap versions?

So is the cadet crusher with orange redish items hard to find? I just did a search on ebay and they all came up blue. My cadet crusher has orange redish items. is that the more rare version? I have pics of my collection on my facebook but i really need to get them on flickr or something lol

I would have guessed the 1701 figures-but I found them easily enough. I would guess the Darmok action figure since that was one I really wanted but could never find.

Seeing some posts I need to check my Wesley Crusher now...

So was it ever confirmed if the cadet crusher with the red/orange items was the harder find version?
