I haven't had much time to work on this lately but I have been able to put together a little something that you all may (or may not) enjoy. I made it large enough to use as a desktop background.

I finaly had some time to get back to this project and realized I was not completely happy with some of the designs. They looked to similar to what had been done before. So I have set out to redesign a few things and update the look to make it its own entity while still looking like Star Trek. Here is a taste of the Avenger "Refit".

Crew uniforms and the Bridge are coming soon.

hmmm. I may have accidentally deleted them from photobucket. I will have to check. In the mean time here is Captain Stone in his newly redesigned Starfleet Uniform.

Oh yeah, The Chairs float:

except for the one infront of the Neptune graphic, it is missing the light below!
I was going to comment that the helm chairs had not been placed properly, as they seemed to have been "seated" too high, but then I looked at the background ones, and was not sure what I was seeing. What a novel idea, they would be ultimately comfortable, but what happens if the power goes off? wouldn't they be the first to fail?
Cool work man!

Thanks. I thought about that as well. The chairs will have their own power source much like a communicator or Phaser. I do still need to add a few lights to the scene.

I'd be more concerned about being in a battle.. If you thought you were thrown about while the chair were anchored...! wink.gif

I concur though, very cool!

Actually I had the idea because they were thrown around so much. I figured if they had chairs that hovered with their own gyro's then when the ship was hit they would feel little to know effect.

as I read reverie's post, I thought that this was the exact reason you would take that route. I am only concerned about power outages, or someone reprograming the chairs!!
great job though!!
