Any new word on Nemesis Geordi?

Although I do get the HTF figures, or the ones that don't have Nemesis uniforms, but are unavailable otherwise (Such as Barclay), nearly all of the figures of the TNG crew I buy are in the "Nemesis" type uniforms. Like many other collectors, all I have left to get are FC Data, Nemesis Crusher, the new DS9 series, and of course Nemesis Geordi. With those other figures either scheduled for release months away or TBA, the only figure in the near future that will be released is the Nemesis Geordi.
Now, was any word ever given as to whether or not it will be available aside from at the convention? The DST figure summary does say "Initially to be released at the con" but it seems sort of vague. I know New Force were trying to get a sizeable amount to sell online but I haven't heard anything since then. The only other piece of data I have to go on is that on the DST website they have him listed with a release date of 2/23 (for the convention), and it seems like he may possibly up for order at the website once the release date is reached.
Has anyone else heard of any other info aside from this? I'm gonna be really dissapointed if I can't get this figure (or have to pay extravagant prices for it) since having a Nemesis Uniformed TNG crew is my main reason for getting all of the figures I have up until now.
Thanks!

I know they are releasing them widely here in Australia. casefresh.com.au is taking pre-orders.

If they are doing that, then there should be a wider retailer exclusive release in the US as well.

Hi Andrebre,
Have you ever used casefresh.com.au. I've never heard of them before but considering trying to give them a go. What are they like for service?
Cheers,
Captain Scarlet

Hey,
well Case Fresh are pretty highly regarded in Australia. They also ship internationally. They also have some hard to find stuff still in stock such as the battle damaged Enterprise-A and a complete set on Tribbles DS9 on special and at the moment I think Mirror Kirk is on sale for $2.
ANyways, as far as service, sometimes they get overloaded so service takes a little longer (they always let you know if this is going to be the case when you actually order though). But otherwsie I have ordered several times and have been very very happy with the service. Any purchase in Australia is free over $80 as well. They have my seal of approval

I hate to say it, but I think we're all vastly overestimating how much 1701 is in the context of the market. I think anyone who wants one will be able to get one. I'm not saying I would hesitate to order it, but I tend to think it'll be easier to get then some of us expect.

Scarlet, glad you finally made it over here Listen, you might want to hold off on that order, as we haven't heard from Rick(NFC) or DST. As BStu said, I think, like with the other exclusives and initial hard to finds, this will be easy to find(Not just on eBay) after NYCC. Because I'm not sure what shipping is from Australia, but shipping there is a lot of $$.

If you visit DST's store it says that Nemesis Geordi will be available 2/23/07 for sale (tomorrow). They also have the price listed as $14.99. I doubt these are the numbered con exclusives but that doesn't matter to me to much since I open my stuff anyway.

This figure doesn't look bad, but I'm not necessarily excited about it. Then again, I don't collect the TNG figures

I am mainly planning on getting it to check out the QC and detail issues most of us have addressed (zipper, paint color, etc). I want to see how well it dispalys with the others (Nem Riker and Worf)and to get an idea how the DS9 figures will look with them since it look slike the DS9 figures may be done in the same style.
