Well I've got some Starfleet Uniform Shirts that are hanging in my closet.

one of them is the DS9 Uniform Shirt

I don't like the little neckie thing that they come with so wondering what's a good undershirt to use for a proper uniform undershirt?



One of the older Uniform Shirts is a favorite, it's one of the old DS9 Command Uniform Shirts from the later seasons with the Grey on the Shoulder.

Plus I've got one of the Off Duty Starfleet Uniform Shirts from Star Trek XI would be awesome to get these uniform shirts completed into a full uniform just so it can be one of those cool things to have in the collection here.

And if I ever went to a convention [Which is something rare for me to go to something like that since I've never been to one and with the way I am at times not good in crowded areas] I'd probably be better off getting rid of these things but I like Star Trek too much and it'd seem like a cool thing to work on eventually.

I do need to get some new pictures made of the uniform shirts I've also got a Commbadge Replica and three of the Pins from the Star Trek XI Film as well.

Just a little project that'd be something nice to work on.

Not sure if any of you here have your uniforms that you dress up in for Conventions or Sci-fi events...

But wouldn't mind some information.

Well I am not sure about the DS9 one you have pictured, but I have a FC Style uniform that was made from the same matrials as the ones on screen and I can tell you its Wool Gabardine and was tailored using a FC pattern, I LOVE it and honestly is one of the better looking uniforms I've seen at conventions when I wear it. Doesn't look like one of those cheap-o halloween costumes ya know. As for the Understirt I wanna say it was like a turtleneck from like JC penney or something, (this was many years ago that it was made and I don't remember) that the seamstress added a zipper to. It prolly wouldn't be hard to find a grey undershirt to work with them.

Plus another cool feature on mine was that the colored bands on the wrists were actually attached with Velcro so if we wanted to change the division of the uniform it was a simple matter of switching the velcro strap and the undershirt.

Mock turtle neck from most any dept store is what I did. Add the zipper if you like. Cheap enough to.

LOL I bet that I have 20 uniforms.
