Well I take a lot of photos and doing figure reviews is pretty much what I do -in fact it was the pictures I did for some of the new DST Ships that lead me to Trek Toys Forum-
So I have to ask here that should I start Water Marking My Images?
One thing is certain that these days people will take an image and not credit the source so a watermark would be needed for figure reviews probably.
But depending on what Watermark I have if it'll mess up with the picture.
Water Marking Images?

I suppose it comes down to... do you care enough?
If you're asking the question, you probably care a bit.
If so, create a black and white image with some gradient or noisy bits, but readable enough to be recognisable even when it's feint. A logo of your own design or something. Make it high res and the background black. Then, when you take a photo, open it in Photoshop or GIMP, create a new layer, paste the watermark in, and change the blending options to "screen" and 15% opacity, or whatever looks best.
Regardless what course you take, I'll be sure to credit you in future if I use your images, or if you prefer, I can consult you when I intend to link them.
