Thanks for pointing this out!

There seems to be some strange pricing on the site, while there are good deals some are ridiculously expensive.

Wow, that is an infuriatingly terrible site.

Keep in mind its almost like Amazon in the sense that they allow outside sellers to post things. Ive had some bad experiences with Sears.com ordering stuff, having items cancelled, and then not being refunded the full purchase/shipping price. I eventually got it fixed but it took an extra 20 minute phone call to do it.

I figured out what was happening after I posted.

My not-being-in-the-US was behind it.

Basically, I'd search for something, and it'd flash up the search results I looked for, but then it'd append the URL with a country code for Ireland, and only display products that... I dunno... were based in/would ship to Ireland.

The net effect is that I'd type "Diamond Select Toys", get a brief flash of assorted DST merch, and then be presented with a bunch of diamond necklaces!

Refining my search terms only made things worse - "Diamond Select Toys Star Trek" flashed the appropriate results for a split second, and then redirected me to the product page for a frakking Star Wars Commander Cody bust bank!

When I tried to eschew the search and navigate the departments manually, the site auto-skipped any "empty" (to Ireland) section, after the obligatory flash of the correct stuff, and moved on to the next section in the list!

Boy howdy... I can tell you, the RAGEQUIT was strong with that site!
