Haha, those look great! I love the seventiesification of the packaging design - very kitsch!
It does seem to hint at a Data and a Klingon figure to come from them!

With Data and the Klingon on the front of the card, they'd have to have a death-by-fan-rage wish to not make them. Could it be that with this and several other of the upcoming products that DST finally decided they want my money again?

Probably won't buy them. I'm more of a 'full crew' guy. I'd say there's not a chance in hell of finishing the main 7.

I might have bought him if not for that... but still, he's pretty expensive, and I'm not much into figures.

Firstly, I have all of these that DST have re-released (as well as the original Gorn and Neptunian that haven't been done.)
I do love these, however I am a little upset that the complete crews haven't been done. So much so that I'm currently trying to fill out the gaps myself.
I do have a request though, does anyone have a scan of the Pike or Salt Vampire backing cards? I'm thinking of starting with Chapel and Vina however I need the backing card for display purposes.
Any help would be appreciated. (Hope it's ok to post this request here......?)
Take care,
Matty-lad

Seems the Retro line is coming back. Dare we hope to see the missing ladies?

In an article about SDCC's Trek presence, startrek.com referred to DST's "...returning range of Retro-style 8” action figures." Sounds like a comeback is in the cards.

There is no old stock. We've been sold out of Retro Star Trek for years. Even the last two assortments, Pike/Salt and Picard/Borg, went fast. What you saw in the display case at SDCC was it. Our archival copies.
We're doing new production runs on almost everything, including the playset. We may even see a new crew member and alien, but we'll see.

I would think they would be nicer, if they came with alternative clothing, to differentiate them from the others. Or Kirk could have the Twilight Zone head, repainted or Klingon with updated uniform I'm glad that Kahn is out in regular release, I guess I can open one now.
It would be nice to get a new Bele the Cheron, since the Gorn was replaced. And they never did a Talos nor Neptunian.
The Klingon is all over eBay, both the original and the EMCE figure so I hope he sells enough to continue sales.
Thanks DST, hope I can help the sales

So..........just wondering if anybody knows what's up with the alleged 50th anniversary line of retros.
There was supposed to be (beginning in "spring"):
- Reissued bridge playset
- Spock/Khan reissue 2 pack
- NEW Reverse Cheron/Redshirt 2 pack
- Possible Gorn/Sulu reissue 2 pack??? (I saw this on a blog but I think they were wrong, though there's a product page on EE claiming Sold Out with fairly recent comments on it)
The bridge shows "temporarily out of stock" on EE. The only one of these I have on preorder is Cheron/Redshirt, at BBTS, which has just been getting pushed further and further out all year long.
Are they happening, or aren't they? Did some of them like the bridge come out already? I have everything released before 2016... To be honest I'm not a huge fan of them. They're too large, is my main problem, but they're also expensive, probably impossible to pose (I haven't opened mine), and just not that interesting looking. Back then, all I collected seriously was Trek, and I had a lot of empty space in my home to fill, so I went all in on all new Trek, hence I ended up with a complete set. So, of course that means I have to get the two new figures, if I can...
