Yes, it was. They update it regularly. We've been around for several updates.

I'll be getting two of them. One for storage and one to distress in the vein of those that appeared in "Final Mission". I cannot wait.

I'm surprised this variant wasn't on display in the place of the "off-screen" variant.  Repaint + wrapped handle.

I agree. I think it would've been a fun one.

The argument could be made that it's too obscure. But then again, they spent money designing the other variant that never appeared on screen. Maybe the weathered TNG version could be put together in time for a tie in with a Wesley Crusher Select. With ripple force field diorama and snap-on translucent orange phaser beam.

OOh how good that video is making  this a VERY long wait.  Traditionally DST products take at least another two to thee months to cross the Atlantic to the uk!

Mine is on the way from Things From Another World (tfaw.com), I should have it early next week.  I am very excited for this phaser.  I used to have a resin one, but sold it years ago.  I regret selling it, but now I shall have it again, and this pleases me :)

Got my ST3 phaser today.  They really did a great job with this one!  A few blemishes here and there but overall a good paint.  The P1 takes a little maneuvering to snap it back into the P2.  The sounds are a bit muffled when combined vs P1 by itself (due to the speaker being on the bottom of the P1) but it's not really too bad.  The screw hole covers on the left side aren't as conspicuous as I thought they'd be.

I would probably purchase the proto-variant if they produce it.  And a weathered, leather-wrapped "Final Mission" variant would be a must have (though it would be an easy customization if one were so inclined.)

Bring on the TNG cobrahead phaser!

I got mine today too.  I had a different opinion of the screw hole plugs.  I think they're pretty brutal.  I agree that the P1 is difficult to get back into the P2.  I thought I was going to break it!

I like it, but I might have to mod it like the guys over at TPZ are doing.  Some of them are looking really great!

Don't get me wrong, I'm no fan of the covers. They were way worse on TWOK phaser. Probably because of the lighter color paint. They just don't seem quite as noticeable this time around.

It seems weird that BBTS and EE still don't have this in stock. Still patiently waiting on mine.

I have mine too!  I'm amazed as this stuff always takes longer to get the uk.  It is a beautiful piece, but I will agree it does sound a little muffled when in one piece, and it is hell getting the P1 to lock back in.  Still...  I love the props!
