So there are going to be "warp 150" of these ships?  Trying to give Hasbro's Star Wars Titaniums a run for their money!  Trying to run me out of the collecting hobby by using up all my space!

 

There have now been so many, my memory fails.  I could have sworn we already got an AGT-D.  But now, apparently it's a....subscriber gift?  Special issue?  There are so many different kinds of "issues" it has become a pain for me to figure out whether I need to buy something outside the subscription or not.

 

I wish they would have kept it simpler.  I see little reason AGT-D and the mirror ships couldn't have just been part of the subscription.  They would have been welcome by many more people than all of their least-anticipated standard issues.

Yeh but tbh so is the Holoship seeming those red bits I have always thought were the Impulse engines... Though looking at it now I might have always had that wrong and its a part of the nacelles?

 

Possible leak confirming Cheyenne, Excelsior variants, Miranda variants, Planet of the Titans Enterprise concept, Sydney. (I'm imagining the Miranda variants to include Saratoga and Soyuz, while Excelsion variants could be four-nacelled study models from BoBW and Unification).

 

I'm afraid the aeroshuttle would have posed some weird plot problems, such as:

- why don't they use the aeroshuttle all the time to solve problems?

- why don't they use it all the time instead of shuttles which are easily bamboozled by everything?

- why didn't they use the captain's yacht on TNG when they could have?

 

Voyager had enough plot holes to ponder over without the shuttle, such as how could they have churned out the Delta Flyer so easily, and why they didn't make two of them.

Interesting and I am sure we will hear some sort of confirmation soon seeming the convention Ben said there would be announcements at is right round the corner... That said I was hoping those announcements would include the Franklin and new 1701-A from Beyond.

 

Plot holes as well as needing to design and film footage of Voyager without the Aeroshuttle, not that plot holes haven't been an issue in Trek before seeming the Enterprise left an entire landing party to freeze unless they fixed the Transporter forgetting all about the shuttle option (though I always assumed they knew so never mentioned that the planets atmosphere wouldn't allow for a shuttle to operate).

Same here!  They said we have to refuse the package.  I asked what that meant and they said to take it to the post office and tell them to return to sender.  They claim they will refund you once they receive it.

 

I still haven't received the light-up Borg gift.  Have you?

Yes, I did get that, quite awhile ago.  Long enough I don't remember when...

 

I think to refuse a package you usually can't have opened it already, and I opened mine...  the post office will know that...  I can try it.  Will let them reply to my email first...

So this is weird.  Did any other subscriber get the special #4, Klingon D-4 Bird of Prey from STID, recently shipped to them?  I did, received it today, and only just realized that Eaglemoss shipped out this special edition *last year* and that I already have it!  What the hell?  How can their system be so screwed up that they would do this?  Sigh.  I mean, at least I have an excuse; with the different shipping dates between Europe and the US, as well as the irregular shipping schedule over the last year, I've stopped tracking which ship comes out when, and now have a pretty lackadaisical attitude about it all.  I guess I'm going to have to start paying attention again.

 

And while I'm bringing up issues with Eaglemoss, I still haven't received my gift #4 Borg cube; anyone else still waiting for theirs?  Additionally, I placed an order for new binders in early June, and never received anything from them (Wasn't charged, either).  I sent an email last week but never received a reply.  Their customer service really is terrible; guess I'm going to have to call.  Grrrr....

US subscribers really do seem to be getting the short end of the stick when it comes to Eaglemoss. :/

Just spoke with Eaglemoss.  Receiving the Klingon D4 again has to do with the transition from UK to US Eaglemoss last year.  Seems they don't have a complete database of who got what before the transition, so they are sending out the D4 again to US subs because they think they haven't received them yet.  Got a credit and will send the model back to Eaglemoss.

 

Also, regarding my missing free Borg cube, their records show they sent it along with ships 35 and 36 back in Jan 2015, but I never received it.  This doesn't make sense, as that was about 12 months after starting the sub, which is when the12-month free gift, the All Good Things Enterprise, came out.  The Borg cube was an 18-month free gift that should have come in the middle of 2015.  Anyway, they said they'd ship one out to me again.  I think I'm back to being whole again - until the next Eaglemoss gaffe.

Amazing news though. Highlight for me is the Type 7 shuttle being in the next batch, and a possible THIRD shuttle set! I'll also be buying the Titan, and the Aventine (that was a nice surprise, although Ben's going to be inundated with petitions now, I hope he realises that lol). K-7 is lovely, that'll be getting bought too.

 

Also, I'll be getting all the Eaglemoss Alien/Aliens ships I can, and I'm chuffed for people who like Battlestar Galactica (they're about to sign for the license to make all the ships, including the old original series).

Only complaint was the stream quality, and the camera didn't turn for us to see the pictures!
