I'm going to need to find this so-called "Tribble chair" now, and there was an electronic version of the TOS command chair? How did I miss that? sad.gif Any idea if they're still in stock anywhere and what I can use to distinguish them from the original chairs? Oh, and if this new chair is delayed for the new Kirk head sculpt, that would be ideal as it'd justify me purchasing yet another Kirk figure, let the onslaught of variants and reissue continue, now with better head sculpts. I swear, I love the TOS stuff, but that 24th Century stuff is getting scrapped for what are essentially variants to be released when we've already had multiple variants of similar items. Just my $0.02 cents.

The box of the chair with sounds is clearly marked to indicate that it's different from the regular Kirk and chair set. It even invites you to 'try me' as there's a hole in the box that allows you to press the button for the sounds. I was wondering why I only could one sound clip ("This is Captain James T. Kirk, U.S.S Enterprise") when I pushed the button in the store, and people told me it's because the chair is in 'test mode' while it's in the store, so you can't hear all the sound clips. The chair is still in stock in the DST catalog here and I've seen it in stores too. The tribbles chair is on Amazon.com here.

Here ya go, great deal considering most places are charging $30-35, but this even qualifies for free shipping even if you only order one.
