Hey All,

Just thought I'd post a message here and see if any other Trek forum members were present today, (Milton Keynes is in the UK)

I am really happy biggrin.gif Like ecstatic... I didnt get to meet them, but I did see them... Ben Browder, John De Lancie, Avery Brooks, I missed Rachel Luttrel by minutes and then finally my best moment ever, was Leonard Nimoy walked right past me in one of the hallways... legend, had a bit of a scowl on his face though. All in all, it was an alright day, shame I didn't get the chance to actually meet and greet, when I walked past John De Lancie and his signing booth, there was hardly anyone in the Queue but he was sat beside Avery... I all but cursed myself for it, had the chance... but

I was there too! I came all the way to Sweden because I heard that one of my favorite actors would appear at the convention.

While my meeting with Leonard was pretty brief, he was very warm and friendly. The reason it was so brief was because his 2 assistants did everything they could to speed it up, the whole thing was very rushed but Nimoy was awesome about it, he even personalized items (I heard later, had I known it I would have asked for it too) Here's our conversation:

Nimoy: Hello
Me: Hello Mr. Nimoy, thank you for coming
Nimoy: Thank you
Me: I loved the new movie
Nimoy: Thank you
Me: I came all the way from Sweden just to meet you
Nimoy: Aww, thank you

After that I shook his hand, said thank you and left. He smiled and kept eye contact with me when I talked to him, which I appreciated. When it was time for our photo together a few hours later I shook his hand, he asked me how I was and put his arm around me for the photo.

The experience was all I had hoped for and my dream of meeting Nimoy has now come true. Here are some pics of this historic (well, in my life anyway) event:

I bought this plaque at the event, it's pure awesome!!
