Entertainment Earth has just posted this link: http://www.entertain...?number=DC17759

Looks like 2011 is shaping up to be a good year for re-release of older ships.

Remember, variants and reissues are what funds new ships like Klingon BoPs and excelsior-class starships. wink.gif The reissue of the AGT-D is a great idea; when the Amazon sellers with the $700 dollar price-points are all that's left, it's time for a reissue. The updated Enterprise-E also looks promising; I'm going bat-crazy waiting for that one, and if DST reissued the regular 1701-D again with the windows screened on properly, I'd probably pick up another 1701-D as well. It's a shame that the AGT-D isn't coming out sooner, or I'd have a Christmas gift for a friend. biggrin.gif

The new packaging isn't what we should be going OMG over. It's OMG they painted the phaser strips and the little extra bits plastic around the bridge! They were just badly stuck on little grey bits of plastic last time, now they've bothered to apply some bloody paint to them!

OMG how crap does Picard look lol, totally photoshopped!

Awesome ship though, I never got the first release but may get this one via a US online store since the UK customs are scared of the magnets....

Also seems to be the red background inside this box rather than the yellow? Does this mean that all TNG era ships will be in the Picard command red and all the TOS era ships will have the Kirk command yellow?

If so why doesn't the B have red behind it since it was only seen in Generations?

Don't forget not only are we getting reissues of the AGT D, standard D, and E, but they are also reissuing the HD 1701, the refit TWOK 1701 and all the TOS roleplay. This is unprecedented in DST trek history. Finally, it's like a horn - o - plenty. Anndd.. it's concurrent with what I'm expecting to be a strong showing from hasbro for the new movie.

ThomasModels, a user over at AllScaleTrek forums, appears to be the paint-master for Star Trek ships at DST.

He posted the following over there on September 30th:

Here are a couple of shots of China's first paint master for approval.

I hoooooope that pretty soon we get a picture of the Enterprises 1701, B, D and E all together.

DSTZach, if you guys would like to have a regular TOS-1701 to display alongside these ships, I'm more than willing to loan out my TOS-1701 from the original release until y'all do a new run of it for the small rental fee of one of those Bird of Prey samples. wink.gif

I know that's not going to happen, but one can dream. tongue.gif

Sounds like "little Riker" from the holdeck in the very first Barclay episode lol.
