I went to check and just realized that I didn't actually have this in my preorder list. Now it is, but I'll have to wait for the next shipment. D'oh!

Yeah, but that would be cool to distinguish him if you have a extra one I'm thinking once I open mine up, I'm going to darken one of them's hair or something

I sent DST an e-mail about this for the Q & A column. I told them how people are annoyed by the indentation of the twisties against the torsos of the figures and asked if they could do something to prevent this from continuing to happen. I was promptly ignored. I guess they thought the complaint was trivial, yet people continue to be frustrated by this.

Hello, I baaaaaaaaaaaacccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!
I've been in this game too long now to know that any complaint is trivial when it comes to QC. I don't think DST are really in the game of producing "collectors' items" where such things as indentations left by twisty ties matters.
Anyhoo, I've just taken delivery of Nos. 393 and 395 in this run of figures. I also got Nos. 202 and 203 because play.com sent me four Enterprise Incident packs and forgot the to send me the two pilot epsiode packs ordered. They are now on their way back and I hope that whomever gets them eventually won't mind the buckled boxes caused by play.com's policy of sending figures out in blue plastic bags.
I've noticed something else about these figures. The Romulan Kirk is orange - not just orange, but Essex orange! I originally thought this was a paint mistake because Romulans are green-blooded and Shatner should have been made up with Nimoy-yellow, but they didn't make him up with that in all the stills I could find from that show. I guess make-up weren't following through with the idea that Romulans are green-blooded, because I don't think Joanne Linville wore Nimoy-yellow either. Maybe it was an expensive blend. **Shrugs**

Wow... this was a long wait! (I ordered from Rick and still am waiting for the "Where no man has gone before" pack)
Anyway, here are some pix:
Since I ordered two packs to get some customization fodder... here are the results:

Not really... as Sallah said in his review, the Gorn is only a little darker, then the original was and the Kirk is just a standard Kirk with extra paint to mimic his "battle damage"...
Here are some pix of the two:
