Oh, looks great. Looking forward to these, especially Romulan Kirk. I sure hope DST does Sarek, too, as shown at Toy Fair, because they really captured Mark Lenard's Sarek in the prototype.

Oh they will for sure do Mark Leonards Romulan Commander because it will be a simple reuse of the Kirk body, and then with slight retooling they can make a Sarek figure since they already have the head fo it. So I would assume they would to a Sarek and Dress Uniform Spock Two-pack out of it.

The good news is it's up on the Diamond Select Toys website too. The bad news is they confirm it's not available till October! I think it's almost cruel telling us this far in advance about something with such a far off release date, since it makes us have to wait an unbearably long time.

Tis True. I think the thing that makes this even crueler is that you have to apply the "DST own concept of Time" Any release date they give you need to add a good 6 months too. So by them saying October. Expect April/May of 2010. I like DST but after 3-4 years of this they really deserve to get hammered a bit about it. One apology after another in their Q&A's doesn't cut it anymore. Maybe the fact that they now are releasing their stuff in Toys R Us and if they can't meet their deadlines I'm sure Toys R Us will not be very...forgiving and boot their stuff from the shelves.

Thanks for the links Samwise. They have now added a pic of the Bird of Prey and a new one the Enterprise. The paint does look better to me. I am glad that the 2 packs are still on the way but am afraid that they are going to ship the same time as the wave 5. DSt always finds a way to get me with one big bill. LOL.

They call them "The Dilithium Collection" Looks like they'll be stickered with the serial number out of 1,701 (what else?) total.

Glad to have the Romulan Kirk on order. Still not so sure about the other two.

Sounds like they should be available any day now. Or at least by mid-Sept like their release chart says.

I love that the pilot pack has the laser and proper communicator. I cant wait to get that set. I have it and the Romulan Kirk set on order. I am still on the fence about the battle set.

That was pretty surprising to see, kind of annoying though that they're apparently going to be individually numbered. I hate that. Not that it really seems to make it any more difficult to find, but it gives me something of an OCD when it comes to deciding which one to open.

Love the pilot-era accessories with the WNMHGB 2-pack, that's a definite pick up! Though surprised at the apparent lack of the phaser rifle... Now I have to figure out how to get WNMHGB Sulu...

Kirk/Gorn I may get simply because I don't have Gorn yet, though I may wait to see if the AA version becomes easier to find. Disappointed that the set doesn't seem to come with Kirk's cannon.

Rom. Kirk/Spock looks like a decent set, I just don't care too much for how high Spock's eyebrow goes up. Seems a bit exaggerated.

Overall though, I'm really glad they actually seem to be getting these out and they tried to put some new stuff with them. Hope they can stay on schedule!

I have to at least get the WNMHGB 2-pack so The Cage Pike and Spock can have the proper accessories!!! That is awesome. Maybe this 1701 thing is what will keep the line going w/ special releases during the year. Maybe this could lead to a Sickbay McCoy/Nurse Chapel 2pk. I must have the Enterprise Incident pack as well. I agree though w/ Jedigreedo. Spocks eyebrow is a little to exaggerated.
