All of those phrases listed on the box are the same ones from the 1st release of the chair. sad.gif

You think they would add phrases from that actual episode. And at least pictures of tribbles on the box art. Looks like all you get is an exclusive sticker!

Looks like Diamond will have this available through them as well now:

Interesting to note that it still mentions the tribble pack-ins...but it also calls the casual Kirk figure Mirror Kirk.

Hmmmm....interesting. Although Diamond always does sell the exclusives themselves as well. They did with all the TNG and DS9 ones.

I got this e-mail from Amazon today:

"Hello from Amazon.com.

We're still trying to obtain the following item[s] you ordered on May 28 2009 (Order# xxx).

"Amazon Exclusive. Star Trek: The Trouble With Tribbles: Captain Kirk and Electronic Command Chair"

Still want it? We'll keep on trying. To keep your order for this item open, please click the link below. Otherwise, we'll cancel your order on October 22 2009, if we haven't located it by then."

It goes on, and obviously I approved the wait, but looking at the website the 'release date' is now:
"Currently unavailable.
We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock."

I'm getting that sinking feeling...

I wouldn't worry. It's just another DST delay, as always. Amazon always sends out those emails. I've gotten several of them for several other items and have gotten them, eventually. It's just their SOP to ask if you want the order extended or if you'd rather just let the order expire.

BBTS now has a listing for the "former online exclusive" (their words) Tribbles Command Chair Kirk.

Same price as Amazon, but with Amazon you get free shipping.

Oops, actually, it looks like you can't order it with Amazon now, and there isn't even a price listed. I wonder if they'll still get it at all? I don't want to have an order in two places in case they *both* come in.. hmm..

Why not? Have the BBTS one go into your "Pile of Loot". Then you can always cancel it from BBTS -- even after it arrives & goes into your pile.

The only possible drawback would be that if you have to cancel it from BBTS after it's already in your pile (which would require a startling amount of coincidence in arrival & processing times, or extreme lag in your personal email checking habits), you get store credit instead of a refund -- but for me that's no problem.

Just be careful that you cancel it within 14 days of the item hitting your 'pile' or you can't cancel it. This hit me a few months ago after they changed their policies (with no notice). I think it is 10 or 14 days before they won't even let you cancel for store credit.

Edit: Okay, Que verified what I had originally questioned here. wink.gif

Yeah, that new policy took me by surprise as well (when I tried canceling something).

Got it! The tribbles are awesome! And Kirk, does not look to much like Shatner, but he is OK and has a nice sculpt.

Just had to share a picture with you biggrin.gif Kirk is on this picture together with Kirk from TVH, Spock from TVH, Enterprise-A, and OFFCOURE some Tribbles (<3) There where 10 in a little baggie btw...
