USS Voyager, MIB, went for $186.00 + $16.14 shipping after 21 bids.

 

We're getting into record territory here, as this was $200 at the door. In 2018.

 

Man, someone really wanted this for the holidays back in 1996 -- that's all I can say. Hopefully the batteries haven't rotted inside.

This is about the going rate for these at the moment. (I should have bid on it -- I dunno why I still don't have one).

TNG Bridge playset, MIOB, brought $70.00 + $26.85 after 24 bids.

 

That's a ton of dough for a boxed bridge whose box has been opened but is complete and unassembled. Is this the upcoming Picard series sending people into a frenzy on the eBays? Could be. Cause this was a hundred bucks at the door.

 

Surely, there are less expensive paths to bridge playset ownership.

USS Voyager, loose, went for $61.00 + $9.45 shipping after 18 bids.

 

This was a bit of a bargain in this day and age when a boxed example can easily go for $200 at the door. Back in the day I didn't get the impression that these were underproduced in any way -- I bought one back when they were new -- but this current trend is properly weird.

 

And why Voyager of all ships?
