It was posted on one of the prop boards that the EFX booth at SDCC was showing off a Mark VII tricorder, A Cage laser and communicator set (although they actually showed the WNMHGB version of the laser), and an EM-33 plasma pistol from "Enterprise". Prototypes only, no final products, but that's a little something for everyone. Was hoping for a TWOK phaser like they suggested last year, but I like the choices they've decided to make. Looking forward to an EM-33 with electronics.

Whoa! Yes! Very nice choices! I'd love to see some pictures...
I've actually been waiting for HMS to get the full EM33 prop kit (w/electronics) available becuase I wanted to build one, but if eFX offers something up for a comparible price I won't pass that up!
For some reason, I really dig allot of the Enterprise props! IMO the phase pistol is one of the best hand weapons any of the series came up with.

They had a Mark X medical tricorder on display as well. I can't believe no sites have pics up.

Well, even though I adore my Science Tric (EFX), I would love to have the Mark VII as well. Having no money however, I'll just enjoy the videos and pictures and wish I was rich.
There was mention a while back that they were going to start making ships, in both premium-big-lighty-up versions, and smaller-static-no lights versions. I'd love a latter of the Defiant if it was priced no more than $150 (3 Art Asylum ships).

I'd rather they did it in MACO colors which are the same colors, but in reverse. I'm still looking to buy one though unless the price is crazy.

neat FHC! Did you make that yourself? Does it come from a kit?

I would prefer the MACO colors as well. Maybe they could do two editions, Starfleet and MACO. Since it's just a repaint, it would be an easy thing to do.

Sorry to resurrect a dead thread but does anyone know what handgun was used as the base for this? It does look rather like a modified standard, contemporary weapon.
Thanks in advance
