And still the only info on the new Federation ship is that it's movie based. Oh well.

J-R!

The only thing I was told was not at this show on facebook.

My guess is a lot.

If you want a cheap Viper, Moebius makes some nice prefinished models of them.

I was just watching Pixeldan talk to some dude from Mezco.  When he was talking about there Superman, Flash and Spaceghost he said that they will have a Kirk and Spock.  I had to rewind the video to make sure I heard right. They also said they have other Trek figures in production.  Yes they are the 60s not the new trek.

Yes! They were on the original flyer (well, Star Trek was) for One:Twelve. I have the Batman figure and it's amazing. I am really looking forward to these. Excited they are going to actually be put out at SDCC.

What? Its movie era, but not TOS Movie Era?

So...Defiant? But that wouldn't be marketed as a movie era ship, at least I wouldn't think so.

The Akira, Norway, Steamrunner, and Saber aren't even remotely big enough to be made.

Yeah Now Im genuinly perplexed.  I would normally agree that the Akira, Steamrunner, or Norway would be too minor to be made but the Romulan BOP is even more obscure.

The Romulan Bird of Prey is one of those iconic enemy ships, instantly recognisable. The background ships in Star Trek: First Contact are less recognisable so I don't think it'll be any of those.

my guess is still the JJ Abrams Enterprise. They might not have the licence to the newest movie but they may have been given the licence to do the Enterprise from the 2009 movie.

Is that even feasable to get the licence just for the ship?  At this point Im not even in the mood for speculation since we've just heard from Robster that its not a TOS movie ship.  Though we've gotten so many denials and confirmations at this point I dont even know what to go by.

Are there any more trade shows before NYCC next year? Or maybe they'll just announce it on its own later this year.

The Captains Yacht and the Scout ship from Insurrection are more like shuttles, and they've said they aren't doing shuttles

The Phoenix would be... unexpected... but possible I suppose. I wouldn't really call it a Federation ship.

Its the holo ship from insurrection....

It takes 2+ years to sculpt and design a rectangular cube?

I'm done trying to speculate, like someone else said, Eaglemoss is far more interesting to follow now.

Great pictures once again, DJC (saying that in every thread lol)!

Reliant or Phoenix. If it was the Phoenix, that would definitely fall into the 'WTF' category for me. Whilst I agree that the R-BoP is a recognisable design, even that doesn't fit the criteria told to us years ago of ships that need to sell beyond just the Trek fanbase. So yeah, I'm thinking it's the Reliant now. I'll happily take any Federation movie ship (let's not discount the Grissom! :D), but it'd seem insane to me if they made one of the First Contact fleet before the Defiant or Voyager. Either way, they're being sneaky/secretive with the information, so there's literally no need to talk about it until they tell us more (sadly).

That QMX TOS Enterprise is really confusing. Are there really people - Star Trek fans at that (we are quite an anal bunch in regard to wanting perfection and accuracy!) - who want the original Enterprise presented in that manner? Something's telling me there's more to that ship than we're being told at present. Is that going to be how the JJ-Enterprise appeared before going in for its refit? Hmm. Either way, strange. Lovely looking model, it's just that for that money, I'd want something akin to the CG model Doug Drexler built.

I highly doubt the JJPrise was refit from the original Connie, they showed it being built and commented on how it was her first mission in the movie.

According to DJC they took creative licensewith the lighting on the nacelles, which can also be turned off, so they probably are doing the same with the paint job.. for some reason.

You might be a bit sad about the pricing on Batman now. :(

Update on this - protos for Kirk and Spock will likely be at NYCC now. They weren't quite ready to show once assembled.

Hey guys, here's a closer look at the Eaglemoss Botany Bay. I don't believe these images have been posted on this thread yet,my apologies if something similiar is already up.

I'm really excited for this ship, she should look great (and more or less to scale, I think... Close enough anyways) next to my DST classic or DST/Dragon cutaway Enterprise.
