To get back on topic, for those of you who haven't done so yet, please give me your thoughts. Now that we know about a white man/yollow woman kiss on TV prior to the famous Kirk/Uhura kiss, is that TOS kiss still historically important or is it like the second moonlanding?

Star Trek The Final Frontier which was released in Summer 1989 had a Romulan woman who appeared like the TOS Romulans. TNG's Romulans were first seen in May of 1988's "The Neutral zone". I wonder if they are trying to imply that Romulans were evolving by the 24th century. That doesnt make sense though.
