And what about this? Many years after TNG introduced us to the new Romulan foreheads, TUC gave us oldfashioned TOS-like Vulcan-looking Romulans.

On top of that I don't even recall how the Romulans were portrayed in ENT.

But you know what, we have deviated quite a bit off topic.

To get back on topic, for those of you who haven't done so yet, please give me your thoughts. Now that we know about a white man/yollow woman kiss on TV prior to the famous Kirk/Uhura kiss, is that TOS kiss still historically important or is it like the second moonlanding?

Star Trek The Final Frontier which was released in Summer 1989 had a Romulan woman who appeared like the TOS Romulans. TNG's Romulans were first seen in May of 1988's "The Neutral zone". I wonder if they are trying to imply that Romulans were evolving by the 24th century. That doesnt make sense though.

^^^Crikey, I must have been a bit slow yesterday, I forgot about Caithlin Dar! You are quite correct. I think I read somewhere that the novellisation (that always provides more information) of TFF explains that she is of "mixed heritage" and is part human.
