Looks fantastic to me. I think the carpets went through some changes over the years anyway, so I wouldn't worry about that too much.
Are you going to do the mirror side of the room..where the controls are?

Really awesome dude! I love the "shine" on the transporter pad, and I'd love to see you do the "console" where O'Brien (or another transporter chief) would stand. If/when Voyager figures come out will you be doing a Voyager transporter room to go with TNG and your upcoming TOS display?
I've actually wanted to shoot a "transporter" video using action figures for quite some time now, and having seen your display I'm quite tempted to do so just for fun. While I haven't built anything like your transporter room from scratch, if I'm satisfied with the way my video comes out, I very well may have to build something similar for myself. Now of course the question is who should I transport, and should it be a "Trek" action figure, or a figure from another line just to do something completely crazy? Let's just say that a non-Trek "crew" is currently on my Playmates 1701-D bridge set and they'd probably be good for my "beam up/down" video.
In any case, I love your TNG transporter room. Now if only you could make Picard look like he was tugging on his shirt the way he always would before giving the order to "energize;" that would really be an awesome photo.

It's mostly finished, there are certainly some parts I would like to be smaller and I think I got the carpet color off a little.
Love your take on theTransporter room it looks like the one in the show, I wish I could do this so perfectly ,continue with the great work.
