Okay fellow trekkers - need your help in identifying these two figures - are they legitimate or knoick offs somehow.

The first was an ebay auction...

These guys I found at a website.  There seem to be four of em - Riker, Geordi, Data and Deanna and seem to be straight up repackages of the 6 inch First Contact figures.

You can check out more of them here http://betty.efmods....php?asst_id=450

 ITS A FAKE!!

Sorry, I couldn’t help myself.

I actually don't know, on one hand their was an absence of action figs for Insurrection, other than the 9"ers and the E. Or they could be some place-holders or prototypes made by Playmates that have been traded over the years. To me though with my limited knowledge, I'd have to say they look like good customs made by someone, or as you say are fakes. I'm sure BadBunnyMike and FHC might know though.

As for uploading the pics, I would like to find out myself although I might recommend taking a look in the Forum/Website Tech Issues forum.

My gues is Fake:

Why would they release the same figures (would riker not at least be "clean shaven"

teh figure numbers and serie are identical to the first contact (just replaced the first 1 with 2)

seems to be to odd a backing compared to the actuall released figures in the past.

Okay I personally have never seen those. There are some customizers that do a great job on making card backs, but that honestly to me look like a customizer put those together. The only figures actually developed for Insurrection was the beginning of the 12" Line (4 figures), and the 9" Figures (8 of them) But interesting none the less. I would say Customized
