Just wondering if anyone from the board here was attending the Con this year? Several of us from the TPZ will be there and planning a meetup of sorts for Friday or Saturday Night.

I had thought about going this year. I think I'm pretty sure I won't be (finances), but if I change my mind I'll repost.

I'm heading out for Atlanta today, first stop will be Mary Mac's Tea Room for some Fried Chicken and Cheese Biscuits. Then over to the Sheraton to pick up my credentials for the Con, looking forward to a fun 4 days.

I had thought about going but with a San Diego trip coming up very soon, VERY soon, I had to pull the plug on the idea sadly.

I had a friend who went there and got me some autographs from Dwight Schults & Dirk Benedict (A-Team cast), and had NO idea Nimoy & Shatner were there! Had I known I might have asked her to get me some autographs from Shatner, as I already have 6 from Nimoy.

It was fun. Though the lines seemed a bit unwieldy for some of the key events... especially for Patrick Stewart.

I ended up getting a Stewart and Shat siggy! Sunday seemed to be a good day for the Trek Trak... I ended up seeing Nimoy & Shatner, then Kate Mulgrew and finally Patrick Stewart. All were very entertaining.

I think this is the 3rd time I've heard Kate talk and I really find her to be a dynamic and interesting speaker... though she really doesn't draw the crowds like Shat, Nimoy or Stewart.

I'd say that it was worth the price of admission. Though one thing that urked me a bit was the price was $5 higher at the door then their website said it would be. That seemed a bit low brow to me.
