TRU has this on their web site (still have not seen Trek in their stores) and presently has it at 15% off MSRP. Which prompted Amazon to follow suit. No idea how long the sale will last. And a sale already makes me think there will be more...and probably deeper discounts than this. We all know how well high priced Trek toy merch is allegedly moving at retail (not well).

Still...not one to take too many chances I decided that 15% and the other Amazon benefits I mentioned were good enough for me so the Enterprise just left dock and is headed my way.

Mega Bloks has turned me into a very big brick set collector this year when previously I stayed away from that universe. I've exploited a ton of TMNT sales and my interest from there has spread to Trek and now into McFarlane Walking Dead sets which have started to show up at firesale prices in many cases. As a collector growing more limited in space I feel much less irresponsible stockpiling mini figures and collapsable bricks. By the end of the year I plan to get my hands on that LEGO Ghostbusters firehouse to cap off the trifecta of monster brick sets along with the Technodrome and Enterprise. My other favorite franchises to collect are Star Wars, Batman and Aliens. But I've always been turned off by the daunting scope of LEGO's lines for the first two, and the fact that LEGO mostly refuses to budge on price, so I don't think a batcave or Death Star are in my future. For SW miniatures we have Micro Machines. If Mega Bloks were to shrewdly jump on the Aliens popularity wave I would jump for joy.

By the way, the other sets are on sale at Amazon too it seems.

Don't know if any of you have seen the Mega Bloks "Kubros" stylized buildable figures.

They've had a Spock one out now for awhile, now there is a Series 2 Worf.. which I just now found in stock on Amazon.com and ordered! First TNG Mega Bloks product..woooohoooo!

I really hope we get some TNG sets. An improved Enterprise D model would be incredible at the size of their current USS enterprise set (perhaps the same width as that set but obviously shorter)

I'd also love some Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek Beyond sets too. Also some Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan sets

A Refit Enterprise would look gorgeous.

Really hoping this line continues but living in the UK, I've yet to see any of these sets for sale online or in stores.

also no sign of these sets avaliable anywhere in Australia.

I too would love more of these sets, but I suspect they won't be forthcoming.

What would be ideal is for mega bloks to let the licence lapse and for Lego to take it. Make some sets from it + add the licence to their Lego Dimensions video game.

Lego would be brilliant but I'm not sure I can see it happening to the extent we'd all love to see it happen, if at all.

Mega Bloks just needs better distribution. Lego pay for space inside toys r us stores for their lines. MB should be doing the same not just for Star Trek but all of their licences too.

They have some good licences and the quality of the blocks is certainly getting there. They offer interesting and complex builds that when complete, present a great looking set.

I think MB are the best of the Lego rivals and are only going to get better at quality control and quality of plastic.

I'd love to see certainly a line of Star Trek Discovery sets.

As for TNG, I'd love to see the Enterprise D, the Bridge, Borg Cube, engineering, a shuttle craft, Klingon council chamber, Vor'Cha Attack Cruiser and Holodeck type of thing too.

Oh yeah, certainly mega bloks has gotten *much* better. I really love the bridge set. It looks wonderful next to the lego tardis console room. The quality is almost as good as lego in my opinion. Though I think if lego had the licence, there'd be more in the bridge set to build, rather than having several big bits of plastic. Then again, there'd also probably be more stickers... I love the little MB trek figures too, but kinda wish they were lego figures so they'd go better with all my other minifigs.

I agree that mega bloks needs to increase their availability. I was actually looking for a box of mega bloks generic blocks to build stuff with, figuring they'd be much cheaper than lego blocks. I couldn't actually find such a box in any store in Australia...aside from their duplo sized blocks.

It's not beyond the realm of possibility that lego will pick the licence up. Doctor Who was originally character building, then went to lego. There was also back to the future minimates and they've made BTTF lego. TMNT has been both lego and mega bloks.

I'd say if MB doesn't continue star trek, lego will pick it up eventually. If MB keeps it, they'll pump out more sets. It's win win =)

I surely hope you're right. I think the fear I have of Lego obtaining the license is that we will see one set and maybe a few small Lego Dimensions sets...

CBS/Paramount should really consider a new animated series to grab the kids attention so that it makes Lego believe that Star Trek is a viable brand for them to move into. It's what should of happened back in 2009 with the Abrams cast and could still happen with that cast.

With Discovery, I just hope we see some amazing construction sets from either Mega Bloks or Lego.

I have the Mega Bloks Enterprise displayed next to the Force Awakens Millennium Falcon, they look brilliant together.

I don't know if anyone is still interested in getting their hands on the Mega Bloks Enterprise set, but I stumbled upon it at Amazon, and it's currently $138, 45% off the $250 list price.  According to CamelCamelCamel, it's been going down steadily since mid-November.  It'll be interesting to see just how far down it goes, or if it jumps back up to full-price suddenly.

Oh you really won't. It's THE piece to get this year, there is nothing that even comes close to its coolness.

I've been chatting to Mega Bloks. They couldn't give anything away but I don't think we've seen the last of Star Trek from them. Fingers crossed they'll do some TNG and DSC stuff next year.

I purchased the D7 a while back, and was pretty happy with the set so I expect I'll like the Enterprise.

I've never built a set of its size before, I'm looking forward to it.

It's an insanely involved build due to the bags not being numbered (blame Lego!) and the pieces all being the same colour.

It's awesome though and the finished result is brilliant.

Got it today, the shipping box was enormous.

Here it is in its packaging with a PlayStation controller for a sense of size. It's a very cool box with some very cool artwork. I'll upload some images if there's interest.

Can anyone who has the big Enterprise tell me how many inches off the ground the nacelles and bottom of the saucer are? I'm wanting to buy another cabinet for it to sit on top of, but need to know if it'll clear what's on top of the cabinet that it'll be next to.

What about the underside of the nacelles and saucer?
