That is really cool.

Interesting that they used the Refit as a size comparison instead of the original.

I can actually answer the point of using the Enterprise A instead of the classic..... The A model came with a similar Schematic poster cutawat.... So it was a tie in situation. I had that one too and it was equally cool.

Thanks djc242! I do take commissions but I still owe an Enterprise C to a friend .... I ran into some issues with it and I need to finish that before I can do another.... I built this D for myself to blow off some steam....

If and when it releases, I would definitely commission the 1:1400 Discovery.

Well.... Youre part way there.... Round 2 has announced a 1/2500 scale USS Discovery for release mid 2019.

If I remember right they also said they may do a larger scale version, either 1:1400 or 1:1000.

The 1:2500 being ~12" long isn't big enough for me, especially since I already have the ~8" Eaglemoss one.

Completely understand..... I think at Wonderfest Round 2 took a poll to see which scale is most popular.... You may get a 1/1400 just because a 1/1000 would be so darn big.... I seriously hope they dont stop just having produced the 1/2500 alone.....

Randomly, the Refit/A on the poster is because that poster was made by Andy Probert - designer of both ships. :)

Prom, it's absolutely stunning. Simple as that. :D

Are you sure? It doesn't look like his style and that doesn't appear to be his signature at the bottom.

I'm sure I've seen him post that somewhere before, obviously without all the extra stuff (be my guest at looking...you'll encounter a lot of awful shit, sadly). He's a man that I'm absolutely conflicted on - seek him out to see what I mean, won't bring it here.

Either way, both ships are his design.

Hey guys..... I'm pretty upset.... The D model's stand actually cracked through the bottom of the secondary hull's mount..... I had to improvise..... The single mount design just cant handle all the weight..... Let me know your input on this tripod stand......

Thats a shame, I dont mind the Flight Pose stands. Ive heard one person mention them rubbing off paint though. No idea if thats true or not.

How big is this compared to the DST D? Would one of these work with it:

I have two stands from them, one for my LEGO First Order Star Destroyer and one of my Star Trek 3 Phaser.

Im very happy with them, and plan on buying more down the line. Id love to replace my DST stands, but thatd be pretty pricey.
