Is that European Troi the same as the lavender and purple ones released here in the States?

This figure is exactly the same, just different packaging.

Same goes for "First Contact" Picard too, right? Identical except the box says "Star Trek: The Next Generation" instead of "Star Trek: First Contact"?

Yeah they did that because only in the US they are retailer Exclusives. So they made other labels to ship overseas and such and sometimes they can have typos =)

LoT Thanks for the images! I'll add them to the site

Maybe Diamond bought back some of the remaining stock from Toy Rocket or something like that and now it's being resolicited as a non-exclusive? That's the only thing that would make sense to me. I don't think that there's any way they could justify a new production run on that figure...

Well People were asking for Re-releases of TNG figures, so maybe they are testing the waters out with AGT Picard....Not quite sure why they chose him first but I dunno?

Why doesn't DST bring out an accurate Picard? Perhaps a TNG uniformed picard?

The AGT Picard is my least favorite Picard figure. Matter of fact, All of the AGT figures are my least favorite TNG figures, only bought them for completists sake.

I don't understand your question. Doesn't the season 7 Picard fit that description?

I think he means a TNG Picard with a better sculpt and better scale. The original Picard releases are too beefy. Perhaps a new head sculpt on a repainted TNG Data body. The same new head sculpt could also be used on a Data/Sisko body for a regular uniformed FC Picard.

Didn't they have a new one made for the new Locutus that got cancelled? The one that makes him look sleepy lol

Perhaps its a narcolopsy paint variant . his eyes look closed till you dab them with hot water , then they open as soon as the water cools off , the eyes close again . lol

Aw, what the heck? I'm all for re-releasing TNG figs, and I know All Good Things is kind of a nostalgia point, but this still seems... odd. When I first saw this topic, I thought it might have been some kind of glitch in the toy news site, like somehow the date got changed so it came up as current news. But this is just weird.

The figure has also been newly solicited on a couple sites, it seems. Huh.
