Well they mananged to pull off a variation of Picard we don't already have. This has the vertical lines on the chest from I think it was season 5.

This is still in the works.  There was an update in the comments on the DST page during Toy Fair.

There was mention on the DST FB page yesterday that they should have a version of the TNG phaser with lights and sounds to check out soon.

This is my last word on this matter. Perhaps Zach has convinced me not to buy anymore product from them, we'll see. I will however be writing a letter of complaint to Diamond Select regarding Zach Oat as I feel he has acted inappropriately and unprofessionally in this regard and indeed overstepped the line in regards to how you treat, react to and talk to fans and customers.

DST at a Star Trek con would be the saddest little booth ever.  The Khan Select, TNG phaser, and a drawing of the Reliant in a glass case.  

Beyond toys.

Kirk in survival suit on motorcycle.  Sulu in Kelvin Pod.  Swarm ship with battle damaged Spock and McCoy figures.  Krall with interchangeable heads.  Jayla with spring loaded weapons.

Would've been neat.

I just don't get why you'd mention being told something without telling us what it is! Also, if someone told me something in confidence (as in, don't post this on line), then I also wouldn't post about it (comes off as sounding like you're bragging).

Either way, don't take this as me trying to tell you what to do either - do what you like. Only reason I'm replying is to say I don't hate you, and I don't think anyone else does, and that the very nature of places like this is to exchange information between one another. 

I think he just likes the attention. 😉

how was the likeness of Sulu?

 

Hard to tell.  It was still in the box, and the plastic they have on top of the figure and accessories was super shiny.  They had Spock out in a glass case and whoa....best likeness of Nimoy ever.

15 figures to celebrate the 50th sound great, but realistically they'd be out just in time for the 75th.

If the next Select is Movie Kirk with chair, I'm going to get both and set them up across the room from each other and let them just glare.

I too would love to know why they didn't.  All the attention to the new paint scheme and sounds...but the stand is still freakin blue while all the others are black?  Crazy talk.
