Just writing to say congratulations on doing an outstanding job on the new Star Trek line! I have a question about the chances of Playmates doing an electronic bridge playset when the sequel for the new movie comes out? I think fans would support this set if it had all the bells and whistles, LEDs for the lights and voices of the characters would be great too. Something along the lines of Hasbro's BMF Millenium Falcon in the Star Wars line. Thank you for your time. Here's to hoping that ya'll will get the license for the other Trek shows and give us some Next Generation characters and playsets!
and they responded with this:
You never know, stay tuned.
Thank you & Regards, Paula Billingsley

Kind of a little opptimistic the stay tuned bit! No I'm not hoping DST looses the Star Trek license ,but it would be cool if Playmates brought us the other shows in 3 3/4".

That because the Playmates bridge was made without the alcoves . The turbolift, and observation lounge doors slide open and closed by way of the slide switch at the top of them . The Ready Room and Emergency Battle Bridge lift doors are simply molded to look like doors but do not open .
The walls where the "storage lockers" are located are on a hinge at the bottom and fold down to make easy access for play or picture taking .
It has 8 sound fx on the top row of 3 buttons it has , Red Alert, Hailing, and computer button pressing sounds
on the bottom row it has Phasers , Photons , Tractor beams and Warp sounds
All in all , it is a pretty fun playset !
