Did anyone else see on the AA ship date update that they are planning to release and electronic tribble next year? It's all the way at the end of the list, in February of next year.

That's awesome. I have my Tribble from STTE, but I could always use more!

You know, this could be either a re-release or re-working of the STTE tribble. With STTE closing, they might have bought the design from them, like they did with the TOS comm. That would explain the fact that they haven't even officially announced it or shown it off yet, but still expect it to ship early next year. If the tooling and everything is already there, that would explain the fast turnaround time.

Oohhh, Tribbles!

Only Tribbles I have are those that came with the Playmates DS9 T&T wave.
I'm not sure how many purple & blue Tribbles there were in the episode!

Was the STTE tribble the same as the ones released in the early and mid-90's?

I never did get around to ordering one from STTE.. so I'll be happy to buy them when they're released in 2011! wink.gif I keep thinking I need to go to Michael's or some craft store to get some more little tribbles for the AA DS9 T&T episode figures (that, or I wanted to see how many seemingly random letters I could type in a row and still make sense.. laugh.gif ).

Woo hoo! I'm a Tribbles mark so this is great for me! I actually own a screen used calssic Tribble that I bought from David Gerrold that I'm building a Tribble-centric display around so the more the merrier!

check out the new AA website for info on the new life-sized captains chair AND an electronic tribble coming in 2009 - the chair has it's own news feed blog thing and the tribble is listed in the news feed about shipping.

Well, if they end up being in the same price range as the STTE ones, they will be between $10 - $15 ea.

I usually picked up a couple every time I went to STTE... got about a dozen or so. Most fun!

I just checked on the ArtAsylum.com web site, and got an answer as to what we can expect:

Martin Paternoster

What will be involved with the Star Trek TOS Electronic Tribble mentioned in the latest ship dates update? If it

Yep. That's more involved fer sure! All the STTE ones did was shake and purr... But these will mix in nicely with those!

I'm sure this is somewhat redundant as we have surely all seen fluffballs at some point in our mortal Trek, but BBTS has a picture of the DST Tribble.

Eeeek!

$25 ea!!!

Well... I hope they are smart enough to make different colors like STTE did to lure me to buy more than a couple!

Aahhh what am I saying! I'm sure Rick will get these for a great price, and If a Case of them works out to be $20 ea I'll probably buy a case from him!

Go NFC!

Yeah, the price was a little scary. They need to make just a plush version for like $5 as well, then you could mix 'em up. wink.gif
