So this just popped up on BBTS.

http://www.bigbadtoy...032&mode=retail

All the Enterprises at 1/2500 scale.

It also isn't using waterslide decals, instead pressure sensitive decals. Anyone know what those are like?

I may pick this up.

Wow, thar's interesting. Funny that the Enterprise B pictured is actually the Excelsior - hope the model itself will be of the correct configuration.

GOOD POINT DAY. one would think AMT did the homework on that.

That picture was in the ships of the line calendar at some point, I imagine they're just reusing it.

It no doubt will be the actual B.

AMT has a set with the B included currently, but they use water slide decals.

The 1/2500 pre-painted Defiant used pressure decals for the nacelle pennants. Whilst the model itself is gorgeous, I'll be looking for some water slide decals soon.

Confession: I assumed they were waterslide decals automatically (was building a small Thunderbird 2 at the same time). It was only with the second one that I noticed they were sticky on the back. However, that doesn't change anything. They've both started peeling quite badly, and in fact, the one I dunked in water was the last one to start coming off.
Bear in mind that these decals are on the outer part of the Defiant's nacelles, which are really curvy. Perhaps on a flatter surface, such as on top of a saucer, they'll be better?
They're also a bit thicker than waterslide decals.

I wonder if after putting them on, doing a clear coat would help them stay better?

My biggest gripe with water slides is how easily they rip, so on my 1/2500 scale C I had to cut the saucer decals into smaller, more manageable pieces. Are these decals easier to get in place?
