I was just curious does anyone here actually own these two figures? They are the only two figures missing from my Galoob collection. I still have hopes one day of getting them at a descent price.

There were some on eBay a couple of years ago for around $3000US (from memory)....along with Beverly & Troi! Though the women were customs made from the Tasha figure, even though the seller insisted they were mock-ups created by Galoob for promotional material.

I would also love to get my hands on the Galoob Wesley. If my credit card wasn't maxed at the time I would have bought the one on eBay! Mainly because it is the only action figure of him wearing his season 1 attire.

Here's the Crusher he was selling...which I bought:

She was originally $200US, but when I told the seller I was a huge fan of the character...he decided he couldn't let her go for anything less than $600US!! laugh.gif dry.gif

I have E-mailed the owner of those figures on Ebay and hopefully he will be providing me some really good HQ Photos of the figures for use on the Ref site, so hopefully you'll see them on there soon.

It is just Tasha's body re-painted. In the shot of her back you can kinda see the yellow coming through in places.

The thing I like about that Crusher is that because of the way they repainted her eyebrows and her general expression she seems to be thinking "What the hell is going on up there with my hair?"

I wish some kind TrekToy person would buy them...and then create resin molds of the figures. Then sell them for 20$ apiece. Maybe even $40 - $50.

The money could be made back! :-)

Bah, If I bought those figures the first thing I would do is rip them open! free them from their plastic prison of 20 odd years & let them mingle with the rest of the Galoob crew.

Not me....I would rather make a custom figure over opening an extremely rare item like that. It would be the same as opening the Gene and Kirk figures.

I own a sealed set of the Gene and Kirk figures and I gotta tell you I've given thought to opening them once or twice... The only thing stopping me is having other production stages of that set to be able to fiddle with.

But yeah, if I had that Romulan/ wesley I'd be REALLY tempted to free them...

Y'know, if someone were to organize it and get all the details settled, I really would chip in on this for possible repros made from the originals... that's just crazy enough to work!
