Awesome, I was really hoping we'd see the Defiant chair! I don't care if the figure doesn't have any changes, I just love that they even did the consoles!

Though I wouldn't mind at all if they changed it to Season 4 Sisko (S3 body with S7 head), or late-Season 3 Sisko (S3 body, S3 head with goatee added).

Heh, yeah... Playmates did a Sisko in Captain's chair which I picked up at KB years ago, but it definitely can't compare to a DST version. Especially since the Playmates version didn't have a floor section or side consoles. Also, the Playmates 6" figures are smaller than the DST TNG/DS9 figures.

So all of the Captain made so far by AA/DST will have a chair.

Still a let down from two years ago when we surprised with the TWOK line. They are really talking another TOS wave right?

There's only a couple I can think of but they either don't make sense, or are being released in other ways...

S5+ Worf (a reissue of Nem Worf)
S4 Worf (already to be part of the Gowron set)
S4 Sisko (already to be part of the Dukat set)
S4 Dax (she didn't command the Defiant that often)
Bajoran Uniformed Kira (same as S4 Dax, plus it'd be expensive)

what other ones could there be?

If we were to ignore that and assume that they don't mind re-release, I'd say the best bet is S4 Sisko. They're already going to run the figure for the 2 pack, so why not produce a few more and make it a chair variant?

Behind that, I think the next most likely would be S4 Worf for the same reason, but the best option, IMO, balancing both price and uniqueness, would be the Nemesis Worf .... with just a repaint, you could have a battle damaged version of both the figure and the chair and label it the First Contact version. (I suddenly have visions of Worf uselessly pounding the side console on the chair... it would be a great diorama, and DST can use that fist mold they seem so fond of for a legitimate purpose instead of saddling poor TNG Data, O'Brien, TMP Kirk & Spock with it..)

Here's a nice evil thought for all the customizers out there..... with a little sanding to get rid of the sides of the beard, and subsequent repaint, a goatee Thomas Riker!
