Seems to be a few wrestling fans here....surprisingly!
So I thought we should discuss the figures.

I try to collect one action figure of everyone. Though I buy all the Divas figures.

There are some people who look terrible on the RA bodies...Benoit...cruiserweights...many more. I still have not bought an RA Benoit, nothing could beat his R3 figure. The best Hardies figures were also released in R3. Atleast they were not heaps buff.

I like the new DA figures. I've always wanted them to have more movement. Figures that could actually perform the wrestlers moveset. Though they are big, so I only buy men who suit the style & still fit in with my RA display (Lashley, Masters, Batista). I would not buy a DA crusierweight, even though they do look good (Helms/Punk) too tall.

Here are a couple of new line-ups we received the other day:

Ruthless Aggression #28 - (Gold Belts 1:500 Promotion)
Vince McMahon (2)
Torrie Wilson (1)
The Miz (2)
Kenny Dykstra (2)
Rey Mysterio (2)
Super Crazy (2)
Victoria (1)

WWE Adrenaline

She is showing up in stores now....She doesn't really look like Candice, though many have commented the figure looks much better in person.

Honky Tonk man is really awesome from CS14...I'm definately grabbing him!

that Candice looks awful. Looks nothing like her

i have a tonne of wrestling figs at home that i've been collecting over the past few yrs, but recently my collecting has been slowing down. Last fig i got was Ravishing Rick Rude, i think

My favourites are the Classic series, i'm really more interested in them now than i am in the regular RA series. A current RA fig would have to be pretty eye-catching for me to get it these days.

I'm also a big fan of DAs, because of the extra articulation but again, i havent bought one in ages. The last one i bought was Boogeyman. Its a combination of Jakks bringing out so much in quick succession and a lack of funds that have curtailed my collecting somewhat

Speaking of DA's those DA classic look absolutely fantastic. I really want the series 1 Flair and the series 2 HBK and Bulldog. Unfortunately, they are not sold in the UK and i'm not paying the high internet prices for them lol

Anyone collect Toybiz's TNA line? Lol, i only have a series 1 (or is it 2?) Jeff Hardy but I really, really want that series 6 Christian!

I believe the Jeff Hardy is series 2, and I'm considering collecting TNA figures now that I see them at Wal-Mart all the time. I see the Classic series all the time in the store and I'm tempted at those as well.

What I want is a talking Shark Boy figure (after his Stone Cold impersonation on the 5/4 edition of TNA Today.. now that was hilarious biggrin.gif)

I haven't collected wrestling figures in over 10 years, my last set were WCW wrestlers that had a button on the side of them that made the "rumble," can't think of what that line was called anymore.

I really like this new candace. I will reserve judgement on the face until I actually get it because pictures sometimes dont look right. This new diva body is smoking! In comparison to the old diva bodies that did not do the ladies any justice this is a huge improvment!

I can't wait to get a Shark Boy....& that entrance attire Christian figure. I will be buying all of series 9, so's I can build the Traci Brooks BAF & also start my TNA collection. I've been holding off for a while, but will get into it with series 9.
Traci looks awesome...best female wrestling figure we have ever seen:

I loved the WCW line. They had some really awesome figures in there. Especially Gene Okerlund! oddly, he was my fave. Such a nice figure!! biggrin.gif
Here is a pic of my WCW collection...though it is missing Giant who I received after:

The original body was really good for Victoria, & will look good on Beth Phoenix & any bigger women...but this new body is far better at capturing the physique of a larger percentage of the women in WWE. Here's another shot of Candice from a WF.com member doing her ring entrance:

lol, i remember those WCW figs. the only thing i didn't like was the 'actions' they could do, especially if it meant having a button that sticks out of the back (the Sid Vicious fig instantly comes to mind). I'm glad Toybiz eventually got rid of those with the TNA figs.

Traci does indeed look awesome - its just a shame that that attire is outdated lol. And the Christian Cage fig is one of the best looking figs i've ever seen - its just a shame he doesn't come with the torso joint that most TNA figs and all DA figs have

And i'm still not liking that Candice. From that pose you've posted, she looks more like a raven-haired Mickie James lol

She looks like that Carmella woman from the Diva search a few years ago. Even a bit like Diva search Amy Webber who was in JBL's cabinet for a while....before they found out about her past! biggrin.gif

We received the ECW series 2 proto's today:

Better pics:

Styles is a disappointment...I don't know why he looks soo bad...he's very unlike Styles!

The women are fantastic...so Artistix is a happy camper biggrin.gif

Though once again, they'd better already have a robe planned for Kelly Kelly, they won't be able to release her like that.

The women look excellent! Im hoping styles looks better in person. sometimes those pictures are horrible. Kelly is a dead on likeness! Im not too hot on the oversized corsets. Both ariel and sherri look ridicululous from the pictures. Im hoping the figures match up better to the piece in person.

Just picked up the classic 2 pack series of the Midnight Express, Strike Force and the Hollywood Blondes. At Toys R Us they also had error Hollywood Bblondes packs that contained two Pillman figures. There were two of them on the shelves which I found extremely weird. Usually you see one of something like hat but two is very rare.

There is a thread at the wrestlingfigs.com forum that Jakks has started called "Who do you want to see in the Classic Superstars line" or something like that and you might wanna check it out if you haven't already. Their locking the thread on Saturday but if there are figures you want in CS here's your chance to tell them. I said Miss Elizabeth of course, as did alot of other people. Moolah is my all-time fave girl though! LL

Yeah, I went & put down my suggestion in there...a few times biggrin.gif

I went with:

1. Wendi Richter (how is she not lined up yet??)
2. Bull Nakano - never happen!
3. Alundra Blayze - never happen!
4. Sable
5. Jacqueline
6. Debra
7. Terri Runnels

And I wouldn't mind seeing a blue haired figure of The Kat (Miss Kitty), but apparently she doesn't doesn't ever want to be associated with wrestling again.

Moolah is awesome. Though it scares me to watch her wrestle these days, or atleast back in the 2000 era when her & Mae were in the division in their damn 70's or early 80's!!

The Luna figure is very cool...I should still have my pic somewhere here of mine...

We'll never know until we are holding her in our hands.

She has constantly been cancelled over the last several years. She may very well be again. I really hope not though, I want to finally finish the McMahon family action figures.

The McMahon Family box set was confirmed by Action-figure.com....however when we mentioned this to Jeremy from JAKKS, he said that was untrue.

I wrote to Action-figure.com & asked them why they would put false information on their site...this was the responce:
