Damn. I'm sure TRU closing is a large part of this. But if we're not even getting the phaser, I wonder what hope there is for the figures beyond Kirk and Picard.

Yeah, this isn't McFarlane, it's the laws in those states. That's why all the Star Wars Nerf guns are crazy colors, even if they're replicating Han's or Rey's blasters. The orange tip sucks, just like it did with Enterprise, but at least they aren't adding to the bulk of the gun with an orange cap. It'll actually be easier to pain the correct color this way. Sucks as a collector, but I do get it. And we don't get a Neon Green phaser. It is funny that DST got away with phasers that aren't that far off from this. But the black color may not help the case.

Got my Discovery. Need to get a better look when I get a chance but so far I liked it. There's a flyer in the leaflet that said the reason for the BOP delay was a delay in getting official materials due to some snafu. I can't remember the wording, exactly, but it just seemed like a fairly prosaic reason.

I am still waiting for my Discovery. I don't understand how these things are sent out sometimes.

I think all these figures from McFarlane are 7'' scale.
