What’s your thoughts if you live in the UK and watched it? I felt IMHO that it was inaccurate and contradictory to every book I have read that I can remember. No proper mention of Gene Coon, D.C Fontana, Rick Berman, Michael Okuda, Denise Okuda, Matt Jeffries, Ira Steven Behr, William Ware Theiss... Please do correct me if I am Wrong.

And completely forgetting Data, Ruk, Korby, the Androids from I Mudd and so many others, it seemed it was thrown together at best.

What do you think?

Hey, I watched it tonight as well and totally agree with you. All the talk of androids from TMP and all I could shout at the screen was "look at the original series."

What always winds me up with these things though is that once again there was no mention of the the 22 episodes of the animated series. These came before TMP and kept Star Trek going in the interim.

Not a bad show for the Leonard Nimoy interview etc.

Take care,

Agreed. The Leonard Nimoy interview was quite good and funny, his description of TMP made me laugh.

It to me was just to cash in on the hype Star Trek due to ITD and TNG at the moment. I wish somebody would do a three or four hour documentary, where they look at ALL the series, interview loads of people, don't miss people out, keep it all accurate and not skip over TNG/DS9/VOY/ENT/TAS as many of these shows do.

I however have to admit that The Captains, Trekkies etc have been pretty good recently, so at least some people can make a good Trek documentary.
