If I come up with a Newt figure, I'll definitely it here. Right now, it's only an idea, but I felt it could be useful for children characters in the ST universe. If you decide on doing any of the children figures, don't be afraid to share those pics. There's plenty of 3.75 figure lines to choose from for potential parts (G.I. Joe and Star Wars included). I've heard about the 3.75 figures for the TOS and TNG crew. I'm wondering how close in likeness they'll be, or if they're going to go with a retro style (like how Funko has recreated the vintage Kenner style action figures for franchises such as Alien {which was originally going to be produced by Kenner}, Back to the Future, horror movie characters and the Firefly crew).
Yeah, I remember that appearance in the films. I don't know if the Robin Hood figure of his character looks close enough like him or not to recreate the character, but it can serve double duty if you want to do both characters (you're gonna need a second Will figure).
That sounds like an interesting idea, sort of like a crossover (and Robin and his mates definitely would probably fit in with the Maquis, LOL).
Yeah, I know, but still, having a small amount of Borg ready for when you take pictures is still pretty awesome. In the "Star Wars" collecting community, they have a concept called "army building", where you buy multiple copies of the same figure, basically amassing a small army of them. Those that do the army building typically do it with Stormtroopers and various generic Empire and Rebel figures (i.e. AT-AT Drivers, unnamed Rebels from Hoth's Echo Base, etc).
Thanks. That's probably the only real funny picture I came up with (and the fact is that I bought both the figures at the same time from an action figure guy that used to have a booth at the Tallahassee Flea Market, who has long since closed up shop. I saw that the Han Solo figure didn't have any weapons and Riker came with a phaser molded into his hand, and the idea for the picture came to be). I've done others, as you can see here, but they're more non-comedic ones. I actually had plans on doing a recreation of this shot with the TNG figures I have, but it appears that someone else has already done it. But I'm sure that if I come up with something else for a TNG figure picture, I'll definitely do it.
LOL! That's a pretty funny crossover pic. Just had a funny one that came to mind: Have Boba Fett taking Indiana prisoner, mistaking him for Solo (and maybe have Han running away for his life in the background). Or maybe have Indiana rescued from Boba Fette by Shortround.
