That's good to hear. Looking at the pictures you posted earlier, it looks like you got a good one.

Ok, cool. I should have been a little more clearer, forgot there was a re-release of the Nemesis. I have the re-release with the light up warp engines. Thanks this will actually help in saving me money. I do like to collect, and may get it sooner or later, as the "E" is my favorite but not now when it's practically a copy. Maybe someday, but not now, I have a few other gift ideas I want, lol. Thanks again.
No problem. And Happy early Birthday! Enjoy celebrating!

The only difference is the paint job. Otherwise, lights and sounds and sculpt are the same as the Nemesis re-release (the one with the light up warp engines). If you had the first release of the Nemesis version (warp engines didn't light up) then you might want to think about investing in either the re-release or FC cause with the light up warp engines, it makes a world of difference, IMHO. Personally, I prefer the Nemesis version cause it has a lot of 'aztecing' vs FC's plain white scheme.

So, I finally got mine (Nemesis & First Contact) but I want to know if there was some kind of problem on the Nemesis version that affected more than just my ship, or if this is unique to mine.
The port top edge of my saucer is "warped" in one spot, and looks stressed in another, and in both spots there is an adjacent indentation that is clearly not part of the mold. Almost looks as if some sharp toothed animal (or machine arm) grabbed hold of it too hard or something.
Anybody else have this sort of thing?

Hey Whirlygig, I too have that 'warping' on my Nemesis version but only like the second picture you posted. My warping is around the forward part of the saucer on the right side (looking from above). I just thought of it as a slight molding 'boo-boo' when DST manufactures these ships kinda what is sometimes found in model kits as well. You could probably just take some sandpaper and just sand it down. That's what I plan to do with mine....unless my laziness gets the best of me.
