Yep. its a nice drive! I was in the area a few years back and swung up and took some nice photos of the valley. I saw excursions on the web from Las Vegas that included the valley for around $600 USD. I would suspect if you want to stay the night, it might cost significantly more. Honestly, while it is spectacular, its not the kind of destination i felt I needed to spend days at... if I were going to spend a few days, there is mostly off-road camping that you need a 4WD vehicle for... in fact I was driving a 4WD Jeep Wrangler, and did a couple side trips... can't remember exactly where though!
Totally random thoughts!!!

Ooooooh, can you e-mail me some pics? please? PRETTY please? If yes, here's my e-mail: grinchwho@hotmail.com
Yeah,I was only gonna go for two or three nights and that hotel,The View, isn't too bad pricewise. Depending on what time of year of course.
I just love the big open vastness of it all as it just makes you realize how tiny and insignificant you really are. I used to LOVE going Greyhound from New York to L.A.,so many places you go by and so many strange and wonderful people you meet during the three days on the bus. I cherish each and every trip for a variety of reasons.

HOLY CRAP!!!!! Now THAT'S what I'm talking about! GORGEOUS! I could sit on top of one of them peaks for hours, maybe even days! As long as I have internet,Mountain Dew and Ice cream. And some Gold Fish, various flavours. And some good music.
Where is this this gallery you speak of? I would LOVE to take a gander. And thanks for this pic, gives me something to stare at while listening to Tom Day's Going Home. FANTASTIC!
And yeah, private flight could also be an option. Where's a transporter when you need one, lol!

I dislike using ebay but have to to get a decent price every now and then. I usually try and offer things up to friends first but have to go to ebay every now and then. What I really hate is when people make an offer, you accept said offer then days later they finally get back to you and say they cant buy it. Seriously?!?!?!? By this time ebay has already taken their cut of the money that you did not get paid so you have to go through the order cancellation process which takes days because they have to contact the person that was going to buy it to confirm the cancellation in order to not take their cut. They sad part is that they are trying to contact some low life that did not make good on his commitment in the first place. Do they really think they will get a response in a timely manner?
Rant over.
