The only 2 pack version I have up right now is McCoy:
McCoy- http://apieceoftheac...-mccoy-tos.html
Figure it's easier to wait and see if they do a single card as well to combo the spotlight, thus why I haven't put up the others. I'll probably do Kirk or Spock soon though.

All the DST yellow shirt Kirks use the McCoy shirt for some reason. Maybe the original mold is gone? I have no idea... but he's the sore spot amongst the rereleases. Other than him and Mirror Spock, I think I prefer the DST reissues. The shirts match in color, the gold paint used for detailing is nicer, nicer face paint, etc.

I think they were supposed to garner new interest but I feel like they weren't advertised or well-placed enough to do that. Does anyone know?

I have no idea about how well they are selling, but BBTS has them on clearance.
To me part of the problem is that most online retailers are selling the two packs as a set, so you either buy the whole cast or nothing at all! Still $65 for an entire TOS cast (sans Chekov) isn't bad!

I'll be getting this set for sure now, these two-packs are a good way of getting the original crew cheaper.

For those wondering. Christmas at my house is a 50 percent choose your gifts and 50 percent surprise. I have a feeling that might have tribbles under my tree... I just can't prove it yet.

Send a Klingon to check and you'll know if you have Tribbles or not in short order!

I also think I actually prefer the darker wash on the original Uhura! Thanks for the great comparison shots Sallah!

I just watched that episode recently on Blu-ray. It's worth watching for the Tribbles screeching in 7.1.
My wife, who is a non-fan is rabidly becoming one. The new movie really opened her eyes to Trek. She was like most people who don't understand Star Trek. She dismissed as a typical 'syfy" show. She finally started seeing what we've seen all along. Its not about the phasers and transporters, they are merely vessels for morality plays. It one thing to analyze with a friend, its something else to analyze with you spouse. Its been a fun couple of months.
She watched Season One with me and we have started season two a few weeks ago. I look forward to picking up season three this Tuesday.
Nothing like watching Star Trek with a fresh pair of eyes, especially with one who holds a masters degree in psychological councelling.

I have recently purchased and received the reissue 2 packs and i have to say they look much better than the original AA releases in the paint area. The gold highlighting in the badges and braiding, skintones and uniform colors look so much better. Glad i got them, just wish Chekov was available, i have my AA Chekov standing with them, but his shirt color just looks wrong.

I am not sure where you are going with that question. On first glance the colours are simular to each other. If you want to use Chekov as the reissue figure, there are differences in tunics, no amount of trimming is going to get you a matching figure. If you are thinking of changing the lower arms, you still have to boil and pop something, plus you will need a Sulu to do it.
If you are thinking of taking the arms from Chekov and putting them on Sulu, I would rather suggest taking a sanding stick (you can get them from the beauty isle with the nail clippers OR easily from a hobby store) and sanding off Sulu's braid. If you use a fine grit, it will be almost seamless. That way there is no mucking about with matching colours and it is not going to be too difficult.
