As for the new wave, I would assume that it will be a series of new characters or at least Kirk in a new costume (Romulan Kirk?)

My hope is Chapel, Rand, Salt Vampire and Romulan Kirk.

Hey all,

Near perfect selection for me. Wouldn't mind a Kyle though.

Take care,

Also, could you tell us if the shirts are 'rubber' or sculpted plastic? Thanks

People have already confirmed that they are the rubber suits.

Okay, but again....why hasn't any other site other than EE posted anything on them? Not even Rick had mentioned them. The only mention of them was at TRU.
hello all..
we will have them too...we have been closed for inventory this week, and I am a bit behind...

Minus Rand and add Sarek. I can't see them doing two females in one wave, and Sarek sort of cover Spock. Or maybe its a remote contolled Horta!!

Thomas E...,
could you discribe, what exactly the accessories are (esp. how many and what kind of hands the figures come with )and take some pix of the figures and accessories?

Greetings
LoT

Spock has a Communicator, Phaser and Tricorder. He comes with an extra set of hands, and they look to hold a communicator and a phaser. The right hand on the figure looks to hold the tricorder, left hand is the Vulcan Salute. Kirk only comes with a Phaser and Communicator, pretty light on the accessories.

Can someone clarify for me if the reissues have rubber or sculpted shirts/torsos please ? I believe I read here they were the rubber but trekmovie.com reviewed them yesterday and said they were sculpted torsos and not rubber. Did they make a running change maybe ? My Toys R Us has not gotten any of the Star Trek stuff yet so I can't check myself. In fact their shelves are quite bare after inventory. No restocking yet.

There have been so many Kirks... comparing the yellow shirts and the green wave 1

Wave 1 Green shirt Kirk - came with phaser, tricorder, communicator, and extra hands (I THINK, but I don't quite remember)

Tihe SDCC Kirk with the phaser rifle, phaser, tri, comm., and extra hands
The first Kirk/Chair combo, no accessories
The electronic Kirk/Chair combo, no accessories
The TRU reissue with communicator/phaser

and then there's the "Battle Damaged" Arena Kirk with some blood repaint on him.

The current TRU reissue has a mustard colored shirt which is slightly darker than the SDCC Kirk.
SDCC Kirk had by far the most accessories, and is probably the closest to actual screen color.
The first chair Kirk had a bright yellow shirt that was closer to Chekov/Sulu but unfortunately was not a match
The second chair combo Kirk and the TRU reissue are the same figure. To my eye, the shirt looks a little more snug fitting on the figure (that is, gives the torso a little more of a V shape than the others)

Aside from that, the only difference is really in the paint apps. The basic molds between all of them are the same

This is why I hate my laptop touchpad. I keep getting unintended mouseclicks, and it just happened to "click" on the submit button before I was ready because that's where the cursor happened to be. :: shrug :: I dunno why it doesn't list my edit...

In my opinion, none of the Kirks released so far look anything like Shatner. He seems to be the one whose likeness the sculptors have the most trouble capturing. Fortunately, if the pictures from the toy fairs are any indication, this summer's green and yellow season 1 tunic Kirk looks like it will be the first with a truly impressive Kirk face sculpt. I believe this will be the first one I buy. If you're a real stickler for realistic face sculpts like I am, I'd hold out for that one.

No one has ever gotten Shatner right, he just has one of those faces that nothing really makes it stand out. To me the best so far was this one,
