Fascinating! What format is it in? If you could post a render, I might be able to ID it.

It's a Lightwave OBJ file. I'm pretty sure that it was the version from the final episode of Enterprise. My friend/colleague that I got it from used to work on that show.

When I get a chance I'll load it up and set up some lighting and do a render.
I also have copies of Galactica, Pegasus, and Atlantis. Maybe one do I'll do a big crossover scene. Lol.

If it's the Enterprise "These Are The Voyages" model, then it's Gabriel Koerner's model. He whipped it up over a long weekend when the producers wanted to use the long-standing model that had been used since Generations.

That model had been renovated and dolled up many times over the years, most recently for its appearance as Captain Geordi LaForge's USS Challenger, and last seen in the fleet escorting Voyager home in "Endgame", but Koerner didn't think it was up to scratch for the HD VFX on Enterprise, so he put together his own model quick-smart and they used that.

It's a handsome model, but it's missing some details (like the windows on deck 2 IIRC) and the proportions (nacelles, deflector, secondary hull) are all over the place.

Holy crap, I'm so jealous.

Are you doing it by buying 27 Eaglemoss cubes and gluing them together?

What the what is this business of the US subscription being over? I have received issue 101 so that seems...wrong?

Would that mean the ships would become hard to get at specialty shops too...?

Nah...they have big plans for this to go on it seems...they'll figure something out...

Its because the system hasnt updated yet. Were waiting on the update (and stock) so they can go forward to more issues. Its aggravating but what can you do?

Ben has tweeted he is going to Vegas for Creation where he will make an announcement. I'm guessing will be an extension and/or further news on Discovery being included in the collection.

I thought hed already announced that discovery was going to be in the collection if they made 150 or more and he had to sign a nda regarding the production of the show too.

I hope they go ahead and announce all the ships through what theyve announced and a freaking Spacedock!

Personally would like to see V'Ger, Whale Probe, BoP Landing Configuration (personal favorite), HMS Bounty BoP, Scimitar, Scorpion, battle damaged Enterprise Refit (ST III), Vulcan Long Range Shuttle, Husnok Warship, Yeager, T'Plana Hath, sona collector and battleship, and a Prometheus in battle mode... among some others.

How about yall?

102 and 103 are now on their way to me in US.

I wonder if Discovery will bring even more ships that ever before...or maybe less from more focused story and higher expense to create "cinematic" quality ships for TV?

I’m really looking forward to getting a model of Discovery.

I’m wondering if the announcement will be showing off a model of Discovery and Shenzhou?

I wonder if they’ll be standard issues, or specials like the jumbo ships.

I'm still waiting on 93, 96, and 97.  I'm also unclear if I'm to receive the USS Franklin or not automatically.  All other Kelvinverse ships were sent automatically.  On 4/23, I received an email with this comment: "Note to STSS subscribers: The USS Franklin will be automatically offered to Star Trek Starships Collection subscribers. Look out for your Special Edition service emails."  I read that as "Not automatic", but there was never a follow-up email from them on this subject.  I've read how other US folks have received recent specials without asking for them, so not sure what to do here.

Been out the picture for awhile, but it's been my only complaint that in the UK, if you opted in to the specials, they just take the money whenever without warning, though to be fair for the last two they've sent flyers in the box saying when at least. That may sound like me being overly critical, but it would've been nice to specify what specials I'd like vs the ones I end up with, or just receive a general email saying ".... is the next special, coming out etc etc".

Anyways, got 104 and 105 in the post! I'll post a quick couple of pictures later but, the Smugglers ship from Unification is much better than I thought, love the paint job, and it's much bigger and detailed than I gave it credit for, a nice surprise. It's the kind of design that makes me question, why didn't we get a Micro Machine of this back in the day?

But the Jenolan.., like many hear I suspect, Relics as an episode is very special to me for a number of reasons, and when we started getting Xindi ships and Malon freighters their was this small list of ships that hadn't been done, or only as kits, but I really wanted to see (Gorn starship, the J, the C, the Vidiian warship, the TAS freighter, a Daedalus class, and the Romulan Shuttle where most of the others of the top of my head). Great to finally see it sitting on my shelf.

I had no idea (though now I feel like an idiot because it's so obvious) that the Jenolan is a rework of the Galileo esque shuttle you see flying about in some of the films, then got reused in DS9 upside down and became even more iconic in my opinion via stock footage

Haven't read through this yet, but Trek Core have an article about today's Las Vegas panel with Ben:

http://trekcore.com/...scovery-models/

Here's some pictures of Ben and the prototypes he brought with him of the Shenzhou, and Discovery:

https://scontent-lhr...5ba&oe=5A37439F

https://scontent-lhr...70d&oe=59FF8D02

Bigger than the regular issues, but smaller than the specials (by the look of it to me). The line starts in 2018 (from what I can gather, haven't read the article yet).

They are 20 to 25cm long so same size as the specials, and I'm guessing will be priced at £24.99 each.

Edit Ben says they are 7-8 inches in the interview but in the official announcement it says they are 8-10 inches, strange

Apparently McFarlane has the prime universe does that mean DST expanded their license to include the JJ Verse?

And MacFarlane have the rights to the animated series..... Does that mean we'll finally get an Arex and M'Ress at some point? Fingers crossed.
