Well it's early January now so hopefully we'll be getting our tricorders soon!

If anyone is interested you can still pre-order the tric through eFX's authorized retailers. I got mine from Redford Films. They take 5% off all items if you are registered member, plus free shipping and a free holster. Not a bad deal if you ask me. biggrin.gif

Makes me wonder if Redford Films got some preorders in themselves before the 250 cut off if they are offering the free holster. I'm really looking forward to this item!

biggrin.gifI just received this notification email from eFx this morning:

"We are pleased to announce that your First Contact Mark IX Science Tricorder, order number ####, is scheduled to be en route to the U.S. from our manufacturing partner in Asia on January 30. Barring any shipping or customs delays, we anticipate to start shipping the Tricorders the week of February 15. We will update you if there are any unexpected changes to this schedule."

Heck Yes! This has to be my most anticipated Star Trek Release in some time! I was soooo disapointed when MR went under and these didn't get released, but I'm glad they were able to find a way to make them happen!

Any news on what they intend to make after this tri-corder? I heard somewhere they were going to be doing a precision scale USS Enterprise from TOS? and a studio scale klingon battle cruiser from TNG?
