Yes the rank pips. As you moved through the colors the braids reset. I remember it very well.

On a side note, all but two the the Klingons above, or their grandpa, have stood in front of Kirk.

Well... if Klang were there it would be all but three... right?!!

We should restart the Trektoy banner contest. I seem to remember it was quite active around the time I first joined...

The thread inspired me to make another one...

Sorry Goth. It all really boils down to personal preference, and it's not a reflection of my views on Enterprise, but my thinking was -

I thought about putting him next to Sisko, but it would have decreased the available space for text, and made it look cramped.
4 out of 5 just sounds better to me than 5 out of 6. Why? I don't know.
Given that, if I limit it to 5 characters, it's funnier to have the Gorn captain as the dissenting vote, IMO.
It basically then comes down to a choice between Spock and Archer. With Archer, I would've had the Captains from all TV shows (exc Voy), but Spock allows me to have a WOK uniformed figure in the banner. Given the wide usage of this uniform throughout Star Trek, I thought it deserved inclusion.

I'm glad most people like it ... smile.gif

If/when I make another, I'll be sure to include an Enterprise figure if it fits with the idea.

You forgot about the Captain Laforge(Timeless Geordi) and Captain Beverly Picard if you want to include all of the Captains available.

Just to play devil's advocate (because I don't really like Archer), it does make more sense for him to be up there than Spock, since Spock isn't generally thought of as a Captain (even though he technically has been one). When we think of "Spock", we think of "Mr." Spock, rather than Captain, like Captain Kirk or Captain Picard. Nonetheless, it is a fantastic banner just the way it is and I commened you for it A.C.A.T.T.!
